7 The Goal Manitoba was using the implementation of the ecommerce project as the platform using SAP to create a pattern that would be repeatable for future projects. The plan was to develop the business processes and technical architecture to allow for leveraging the initial investment. Specific goals were: Improve the online service by implementing an integrated ecommerce solution for Statutory Publications that is fully integrated with Manitoba s central financial information system SAP Limit paper financial transactions and accounting reconciliations by enabling online sales and accounting through an ecommerce channel thereby reducing the chances of human error while posting the financial documents
