1 Job Description Online Digital Marketing Specialist for a Car Dealership Online Digital Marketing is an ever growing and changing component of the top GM's and Principal's agenda and in many regards considered a key success factor of a car dealership moving forward from old traditional marketing and advertising to the new information platform marketing and advertising in the new economy. Cheryl will demonstrate a record of analytical rigor, creative problem solving, and execution steps for the GM and/or it's principles. Cheryl Lynn has a top-tier 4+ years of Online Digital Marketing and Advertising educational background, a successful track record in developing and managing large scale Online marketing campaigns in both U.S. and Canada markets and 23 years of experience in offline marketing and advertising. Cheryl Lynn has a strong professional performance who is highly analytical, extremely disciplined and passionate in her skills, she is motivated and had a detail-oriented ability to work in fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Drive customer acquisition and engagement for a Car Dealership via search engine marketing. Driving transformational growth via digital platforms for the car dealership Leveraging digital channels including social media, mobile, commerce as well as other emerging technologies to empower a car dealership's sales representatives, internet manager and engage consumers Manage all planning and execution of online search marketing programs, including campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, analysis, optimization, budget pacing and forecasting, keyword research and expansion, competitive benchmarking, and strategic portfolio insights. Partner closely with GM, GSM and Internet Manager teams to understand business objectives, provide strategic guidance in relation to the opportunity and impact of online acquisition efforts, and develop strategic customer acquisition/engagement marketing programs to deliver against campaign goals. Develop and/or evolve the marketing reporting dashboards and analyze individual campaign performances to derive actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value. Provide weekly performance updates to GM and Principles and serve as the channel owner in making recommendations, sharing best practices, and alerting to new trends and emerging opportunities. Identify new and emerging online advertising technology and capabilities to improve program performance. Define, drive and execute effective optimization strategies Optimize a car dealership's text ads, display ads, print ads, direct mail, newspaper ads, radio and TV ads and keywords to optimize marketing investments Drive incremental website and mobile traffic Increase sales conversion
4 Define, drive and manage all aspects of digital marketing and will act as the lead on all relevant major projects such as social media, applications, mobile, global internet, market sites, etc) Will help translate the company's unique selling propositions into highly effective ads and will monitor the effectiveness of the ads with regards to its contribution to the company's marketing ROI Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop planning and execution processes to streamline operations, especially in the areas of portfolio organization, language localization, creative development, media planning, reporting, and campaign QA. Manage search engine marketing in developing and executing marketing campaigns. In-depth understanding of key industry metrics and the ability to recognize how they might impact the business (CPC, CTR, CPA, Quality Score). Tech savvy and comfortable using paid search/social management tools (Adwords, AdCenter, Facebook Power Editor, SEM tools providers) Ability to develop strong relationships with internal partners and external agencies Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Experience working in specifically luxury car dealerships and/or fashion Top-notch written and verbal communication skills. Fun, energetic and collaborative personality with self-starter approach to work. PLUS! SEO: Cheryl Lynn will identify opportunities to improve organizational and process enhancements related to SEO that will move a car dealership to its success in the digital era and will conduct site audits to ensure that all site designs are created according to SEO industry best practices. SEM: Cheryl Lynn will provide critical input in terms of overall digital advertising allocations (search vs display) and will serve as the car dealership's global SEM expert, working with markets to continuously optimize text ads, display ads and keywords to drive incremental website and mobile traffic, increase sales conversion and optimize a car dealership's marketing investments. Create organic SEO. marketing: Cheryl Lynn will be responsible for driving a car dealership's overall marketing strategy. This includes conducting an audit of current practices, identifying optimal global vendor and creating a global marketing center of excellence.
