4 Summary In 2009, 6 French people from different Rotaract clubs have had the crazy idea to organize a big concert tour in France, at the same period and for the same reason : fighting against multiple sclerosis. This action gathered around twelve Rotaract clubs, and around 20 Rotary and Inner Wheel clubs in France. This action represents deep values of these clubs, which are presents all around the world, «First serve» - «Friendship by action». Several concerts were planned in 6 French towns, which allowed people to learn more about multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis, a neurological self-immune chronicle disease of the central nervous system concerns people positive carrier in France. This disease represents the first cause of handicap for people aged of 25 to 35, just after road accidents. 2010, cultural year of Russia in France for its first edition, a worldwide group was proposed : the orchestra of the «Cordes d Argent», the Silver Strings. This semi-professional orchestra was created in 1918 in St Petersburg. Since then, they have been invited to play in the biggest cities all around the world, thanks to a very diversified program, that goes from classical music to folk, contemporary or film music. 7 Organization: Tools and put in place OBJECTIVE : Means mutualization and tools uniformization For the good process of the action and in order to facilitate the each concert s organization for local Rotaract club, an executive committee has coordinated a national action and has also created a complete pack «ready to use» containing: -A legal support: Creation of an Inter Rotary-Rotaract-Inner Wheel : Musi SEP This support allows to create a solid financial solidarity between the clubs concerned. The principe was that the profits made by one concert would cover the potential deficit from an other. -Administrative tools: the action s presentation file, models of letters, certificates to exempting a sponsoring company from taxation -Communication tools: posters, Flyers, Internet websites, Facebook groups, press files, press releases -Logistical support: GANTT (tool that permits a planification of the tasks that have to be done in time with a personnal role allocation for each member), a roadmap (management tool for all the missions during an action process), a sales coordination table (on time follow-up of sales for each concert ) - A support during main steps of the project: by creation of communication coordinators, partners, sales by local coordinations meetings, regionally and nationally, visio-meetings organization 7

8 Organization: Communication OBJECTIVE : Allow a large media coverage (locally, regionally and nationally) All the tools put in place in the communication process were used by the national coordinators but also by all the local responsables. This process allows an important media coverage through various communication supports which are: - Posters and flyers - Internet websites - Social networks - Media - Radio You will find below several examples (other examples can be given on demand): 8

22 Qualitative report Beyond numbers, Musi SEP Tour has succeeded in all the objectives fixed: Connection between clubs: Creation of strong links between Rotaract clubs and also with the Rotary clubs, who were our main supports and sponsors during the whole project. They are now ready for another Musi SEP Tour! Please also note that other connections have been made with otherclubs such as Inner Wheel, Lions and Léo clubs. Creation of Rotaract representatives within the Rotary club sponsors, who were in direct contact with Rotaract clubs during the wholeyear. An important media coverage which allowed recruitments within clubs. It was also a good opportunity for a new Rotaract club, which have difficulties or with not a lof of members, to organize a motivating action with help from others Rotaract Clubs and their members. Acquiring new skills for some Rotaract members, thanks to the executive committee creation, that helped local organizers during more than one year. 22
