8 How CampusArt works Prerequisites at least 3 years of postsecondary study in art or architecture personal website french language proficiency at level B2 (Common European Framework for Languages) Application fees applicants are obligated for the CampusArt application fee (payable to Campus France) only if their application for admission is accepted Note: Some institutions require applicants to pay a portion of their tuition upon acceptance of the offer of admission. 8/

9 How CampusArt works Online application supported by a paper file Student information and detailed CV academic data: statement of grades, by discipline (from first year of postsecondary education to present), degrees, language test score (TCF or TEF test; DELF or DALF diploma) personal statement, letters of reference, link to online portfolio a single paper file containing everything in the electronic application is sent to Campus France (in the form of a printed copy of the electronic file signed and dated by the student, with supporting documents certified as to authenticity and translated into French by an accredited translator) /9

10 Personal website Portfolio mandatory for all applications to programs in art or architecture accessible via a live URL in the applicant s online file 4 parts: - original art work (±20 reproductions) - a museum of the imagination (± 20 works by other artists) - personal statement (goals, philosophy), CV, etc. - other documents (score on recent language test, diplomas, grades for current year, personal statement, CV, etc.) 10/

11 Common calendar November through February Mid- February March Students compile applications online at CampusArt site Deadline for receipt of paper files at Campus France Paris CampusArt makes electronic applications available online (by sending access codes to CampusArt member institutions) Institutions contact applicants: telephone interviews, videoconferences, and offers of admission. Late March Late March/ early April early April April through May The last offers of admission are extended Candidates accept or decline offers of admission Closing admissions Formal offers of admission are prepared and mailed /11
