4 View Accounts Account Summary The Account Summary page allows you to have an overview of your accounts on one page as well as: o Access options to manage your accounts by choosing the Select Option dropdown arrow View Transactions Download View Statements Stop Payments Transfer Funds Account Info o View a Customer Summary, which shows: Summary of Account Balances Date and Time of last access to Online Banking for security Park Sterling Bank 4

5 Details and Transactions When choosing the Transactions option from the Select Option drop down, you can: o View Transaction Details o See Current Balance and Available Balance o Search Transactions o Sort Transactions o View Checks o View Transaction History We keep 90 days of your account history available for you. Search Search by Account, Date Range, Amount, Check Number, Debits, or Credits Current Balance Displays collected balance of the selected account. Sort Transactions By clicking on the heading of the following fields, you can arrange by: - Date - Reference/Check Number - Debit or Credit View Checks Click on an underlined number to view or print the front or back of a check Available Funds Detailed breakdown of funds available to transfer or pay bills. NOTE: The available balance shown above does not include overdraft lines of credit. Available funds from overdraft lines of credit will continue to be available to you as needed for transaction authorization and/or account transfers. Park Sterling Bank 5

6 Download Transactions The Download feature gives you the option to download transactions for a specific time frame to a spreadsheet, text document, Quicken, or QuickBooks DirectConnect is available at no charge to you o This will allow you to pay bills and transfer funds directly within Quicken or QuickBooks. To learn more about setting up Quicken or QuickBooks To Download transactions to financial management software, such as Quicken, QuickBooks, or a spreadsheet: 1. Choose the account you wish to download transactions from 2. Select the Download Range (Date Range) a. Only 90 days of history is guaranteed 3. Select the Download Format 4. Click Submit Park Sterling Bank 6

7 Download Types Above is a list of each Download Format type. Please see the definitions of the most commonly used types below: o Microsoft Money A financial management software from Microsoft This option will allow you to download transactions directly to the software o Intuit Quicken Allows you to download transactions directly into Quicken so that you can manage your money using this software If you are using DirectConnect, you will be able to pay bills directly from Quicken with no charge from Park Sterling Bank o Intuit QuickBooks -.QBO is the option you will choose to download your transactions into QuickBooks..IIF is a different format that will require an Import Kit from QuickBooks to be downloaded.qbo allows you to seemlessly download the transaction history If you are using DirectConnect, you will be able to pay bills directly from QuickBooks with no charge from Park Sterling Bank o Spreadsheet You can download your transactions using the Spreadsheet option and your transactions will be displayed in a spreadsheet format This allows you to easily sort, search, and save your transaction information without using any financial management software o Word Processing This will allow you to pull your transactions into a Text document that can be saved to your PC Park Sterling Bank 7

8 Transfer Funds The Transfer option allows you to transfer money to and from your accounts You can also pay your Park Sterling Bank loan accounts quickly and conveniently o On the New tab, you can establish one time or recurring transfers Transfer Confirmation example Create a New Transfer: 1. Choose New 2. Select the From and To Account 3. Enter the amount you would like to transfer 4. Select Frequency and enter the date you would like the transfer to be made - If you are selecting a Frequency other than One Time, make sure to complete the new fields that display 5. You can add a note in the Transfer Memo field for your records 6. Choose Submit 7. Review the transfer for accuracy 8. Confirm the transfer to complete the process Park Sterling Bank 8

9 Making a Loan Payment You can also make a loan payment using the Transfer feature Choose the loan you would like to make a payment to as your Transfer Funds to account Select your payment option o Make a regular payment to loan o Only apply payment to principal If you make the payment to principal, the transaction may not advance your next payment due date Choose the payment frequency and the date you would like for the payment to be made Choose Submit You will be asked to review your loan payment to confirm everything is correct If all is correct, you can Submit the loan payment to be completed You will receive a confirmation page Park Sterling Bank 9

10 Pending Transfers and History The Pending Transfers tab displays all transfers that you have set up and are waiting to be processed You can delete transfers that were created in error or that you wish not to process any longer View Transfer From: Choose which account you would like to view the pending transfers for Deleting a Pending Transfer: Click in the empty box to the left of the transfer you wish to delete o A check mark will appear Choose Delete Selected Transfer History Choose the History tab to the right of Pending to view previous transfers made - You can choose a View Range of 7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, or All and you can also Search for a specific transfer Manage Transfers: When choosing the Select Option drop down arrow beside a pending transfer, it gives you the following options: - View - Edit - Delete Park Sterling Bank 10

11 Stop Payment The Stop Payment tab allows you to place a stop payment on a paper check that you have written on your account and not Bill Pay items A $16.00 Stop Payment fee will apply for each request To place a Stop Payment on an item that was transmitted electronically OR to cancel a Stop Payment request you will need to call or visit your local Park Sterling Bank branch There are two ways to access Stop Payments: 1. Choose Stop Payment from the Select Options drop down menu 2. Choose Stop Payment under the Home navigation tab Current allows you to view details of your existing Stop Payments Enter the information in the required fields marked with an asterisk *. You can also enter information in the other fields if you have it or would like to add a Remark for your records. Park Sterling Bank 11

12 Stop Payment Confirmation Once you have submitted the Stop Payment information, you will see the confirmation allowing you to review the information and Add Another Stop if needed. Park Sterling Bank 12

13 View Statements To view statements choose Statements beside the account you wish to view from the Select Option drop down o These statements do not contain check images or deposit images o Please sign up for estatements in order to view obtain statements with images You can view 18 months of statements o Please note that statements do not start accruing until you have enrolled in Online Banking Choose the date of the statement you wish to view and Select the Format to View the statement o You can view the statements as a PDF document, Text, or as HTML Park Sterling Bank 13

14 Online Bill Pay Locate the tab at the top of the web page that says Bill Pay and click it: o Bill Payment Menu Adding a payee Locate the tab that says Payees Hover your mouse over the tab until it displays o Select Add a Payee Choose the type of payment that you want to add o Company Park Sterling Bank 14

15 o Individual o Bank or Credit Union The screen will update and walk you through the process for the payee that you wish to add o Company Requires you to enter the following (Note: Fields with an asterisk (*) are required fields): Payee Name Account Number Confirm Account Number Phone Number Payee Zip Code Account Holder Name (this should be the name on the account for this payee) Note: the far right section displays information that may assist during the setup process. When you click the Next button, the Bill Pay system will look for existing payees to verify address and payment methods (check or electronic payment). If no previous address can be found then the system will prompt you for the address. Park Sterling Bank 15

16 Payee Nickname: The Bill Payment allows the flexibility to assign meaningful nicknames to payees. Category: The Bill Payment system allows you to assign categories to your payments. Payee Address: The Bill Payment system is asking for the payee address. Default Account: The Bill Payment system allows you to choose the default pay from account Park Sterling Bank 16

17 In adding an individual or bank/credit union payee, you should then see a page that shows it is awaiting activation, choose the sticky note in the top right corner You will then see Activate Payees and from there you will need to Choose Activate The next screen will give you options to send the code, select a method of delivery: Enter in your code and click submit Once you have verified your payee you should see this Choose from these options to continue working with this payee Park Sterling Bank 17

18 Schedule a Payment Hover over Payees and choose View Payees Choose a Payee and click Pay: Enter pay from account, amount, and process date Choose Next Review your payment and make any necessary changes Park Sterling Bank 18

19 If all of the information is correct, Submit Payment o If changes need to be made, select Edit You will then receiving your payment confirmation page with confirmation number Payment Hover over Payments and choose Add a Payee Under the Add a Payee section, choose Add a Person Park Sterling Bank 19

20 You will then enter the person s information as requested Choose Next Enter a Keyword and confirm in the second box o The section to the right of the screen can provide more explanation After entering the Keywords, choose Next Park Sterling Bank 20

21 Verify that the person s information is correct on the Review screen Park Sterling Bank 21

22 If all of the information is correct, choose Submit Person You will need to Activate the Payee by using the instructions to the right of the screen Choose how you would like to receive the Activation Code and choose Request Code Now Park Sterling Bank 22

23 Enter the Activation code you received and choose Submit You have completed your portion for activating the payee The person you are adding as a payee will now need to check their for the activation link Park Sterling Bank 23

24 Provide the payee with the security keyword that you set up so they can enter this information Park Sterling Bank 24

25 Edit a Payment Hover over Payments Choose Scheduled Payments Choose Edit Make the necessary changes Choose Submit Changes to complete the Edit Park Sterling Bank 25

28 Recurring Payment Hover over Payments Select Recurring payments Choose the Payee you wish to set up a recurring payment to Enter Pay From account, Amount, Frequency, and Process Date Park Sterling Bank 28

29 These are the options you have when setting up the Frequency of a recurring payment Choose Next Review the Recurring Payment setup o If everything is correct, choose Submit Payment o If changes need to be made, choose Edit After choosing Submit Payment, you will receive a confirmation page with your confirmation number Park Sterling Bank 29

30 Payment History Hover over Payments Choose Payment History In the Payment Search section, you can choose to search by Category, Pay To, or Process by Date Range Park Sterling Bank 30

31 You can also choose your Display Options Once you have selected the Payment Search options you would like as well as the Display Options, choose Search You will then see all transactions that you have processed from Bill Pay for the criteria selected Park Sterling Bank 31

32 estatement To enroll in estatements choose Electronic from the options at the top of the screen under the Park Sterling Bank Logo o From here choose Enrollment if it is not already selected You can choose which accounts you want to receive estatements for by clicking the details link Review the address and make sure it is correct o If it is not correct, update it in the box below Create a security passphrase o The purpose for the passphrase is for your security so that you know the s you receive are legitimate Click the Click Here link to receive the passcode The passcode will pop up o You may need to turn off any popup blockers or firewalls if you do not see this when you click the link Enter the passcode after you receive it Review the Terms and Conditions Click to add a checkmark tot eh checkbox at the end of the Terms and Conditions screen Accept the Terms and finish the Enrollment process After you have Agreed to the Terms and Conditions o Click Enroll Now and the process will be complete Park Sterling Bank 32

33 Viewing estatement To view your estatements, choose the Electronic tab o You estatements will accrue 18 months o The accruals will not begin until after you have enrolled You can choose which account you would like to view your estatement/notice for by choosing it from the drop down Choose the drop down arrow to select which account to Choose View under View Details to select the month you wish to view Choose Open to view your electronic statement or choose Save to save the statement to your PC for future reference Park Sterling Bank 33

34 Other Electronic Options Sign Up/Changes allows you to choose which accounts you would like to receive estatements or enotices for Settings gives you the option to update the address that you receive your estatements for as well as update your Security Phrase that displays in the subject line when you receive your estatements You can add Additional Recipients to receive a copy of your estatement to their o You ll create a Username and PIN for the additional recipient to use when opening the estatement from their address The Disclosures Option provides you with the estatement Disclosure and Agreement that you agreed to during the enrollment process You can use the Reconciliation Wizard to assist you with reconciling your accounts Park Sterling Bank 34

35 Options The Options tab Personal Settings gives you the control of: o Updating your address o Change your Watermark image o Set Up the Automated Password Reset feature o Change your Online Banking ID o Change your Online Banking Password Please note the instructions for each option is listed at the top of the page Park Sterling Bank 35

36 Change your Account Pseudo Name (nickname) to the name you would like Customize how your Account Information displays on the Display Options tab Park Sterling Bank 36

37 Add Alerts to your Online Banking that will keep you updated regarding things that are most important to you o Did that ACH Credit I ve been waiting on deposit it in my account? o Did my balance go above or below a certain amount? o Did that check I wrote clear my account? o Whose birthday is this month? These are all examples of Alerts that you can add to help answer these common questions To Add, Edit, or Delete alerts, choose from these options Park Sterling Bank 37

38 Message Center You can send a message directly to Online Banking Support from within your Online Banking Simply choose Contact in the top right corner of the screen o To the left of Log Out Choose New and complete the Subject, Urgency, and Message fields the choose Submit To view replies or new messages from Online Banking Support, you can choose the Message Center and all new messages will display there New Message to you from Online Support Enter your message to Online Banking Support here Park Sterling Bank 38

39 360 Personal Financial Management that is built into the Park Sterling Bank Online Banking website. Your Park Sterling Bank accounts will automatically show up in 360. You can add more accounts by clicking the Add Account link and following the screens. Park Sterling Bank 39
