2 We re Upgrading Your Banking Experience We will be upgrading our technology in August to bring you more features, better tools, and an enhanced customer experience. It is all part of our mission at Investors Bank to deliver the most up-to-date services and the right products to meet your everyday banking needs and help you achieve your long-term financial goals. You will find all the details about the upgrade in this package, as well as on our website. ABOUT THE UPGRADE When will it happen? The technology upgrade will begin on Friday evening, August 21 st. It is scheduled to be completed Monday, August 24 th. How will it impact you? Branches will be closed for the weekend and Online Banking and Bill Payment, Mobile and Telephone Banking will be unavailable as well. Please review the following pages for important information on the updates, including details on our improved Online and Mobile Banking systems. 3 Online Banking We are looking forward to unveiling our new Small Business Online Banking system on August 24 th. The system will include a new overview of your accounts and activity, more user-friendly dashboard (an overview of your activity and account relationships), and additional features and tools to simplify your banking experience. MAKE BANKING SIMPLER WITH NEW ONLINE FEATURES Take advantage of a wide selection of updated features that offer more convenience, control and flexibility. 1. NEW Simplified dashboard with fewer tabs for easier access to your accounts 2. NEW Mobile Deposits Deposit checks via our new mobile app 3. Communicate securely with our Client Care Center using Secure Messaging and Live Chat 4. Quick view into enrolled Bill Pay, with NEW same/next day payment options 5. Drag-and-drop internal account transfers 6. Receive notification alerts on your mobile device 7. Easy access to e-statements for eligible accounts 8. Easily manage your profile through the NEW Settings functionality 9. Available balances * are displayed. Click into account to see Current balance for each account 10. 4 Online Banking (continued) CURRENT ONLINE BANKING CUSTOMERS: WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE UPGRADE Make note of current FinanceWorks information: Our upgrade will include a new finance manager tool, Trends, which will replace FinanceWorks. Existing information from FinanceWorks will not be transferred, so be sure to record current financial information from other institutions, accounts and credit cards in order to re-create your account on Trends. Make note of all alert notifications: Your alerts will not be transferred into the new system. Record current alert notifications in order to re-create them following the upgrade. Set up Trends for finance management Download new Mobile Banking app For more detailed information, including videos and demos of the NEW Online Banking system visit: myinvestorsbank.com/upgrade How to Log in to Online Banking Starting August 24 th EXISTING ONLINE BANKING CUSTOMERS How to log in after the upgrade: 1. Log in with your existing username. Your temporary password will be the last six (6) digits of your Social Security Number or Tax ID Number. 2. Create a new password, following the instructions listed on the screen. 3. Select and answer five (5) challenge questions. 4. Enter your phone number for a one-time passcode. 5. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions (checkbox). 6. Add or validate your profile information, address and/or phone number. 7. If you are currently getting e-statements via online banking, follow the steps on the screen to re-enroll for the service. NOT YET AN ONLINE BANKING CUSTOMER? If you are not an Online Banking Customer, we invite you to sign up for this enhanced service beginning August 27 th. 1. Enter your Social Security or Tax ID Number. 2. Enter one account number from your existing Investors accounts. 3. Enter your last name or name of business. 4. Enter the Captcha security code. 5. Follow self-directed steps to complete password, Terms and Conditions, challenge question setup, and profile setup. 5 Mobile Banking BANK ON THE GO WITH MOBILE BANKING Our secure mobile solutions are designed to let you access your money wherever life takes you. With our new Mobile App, you can do even more when you are on the go. Mobile Check Deposit: Deposit checks via your mobile phone and tablet. With a daily deposit limit of $3,000 per user per day, you will save time and unnecessary travel. Mobile Web You can also visit myinvestorsbank.com using a mobile device to log in to Online Banking. Just be sure that you have already registered for or logged in to Online Banking using a computer. Text Banking Log in to Online Banking and click on the Mobile link in the top right. Enable Text Banking and click Continue. An activation code will be sent to your device, and you are ready to go! Telephone Banking When logging in to telephone banking for the first time after the upgrade, you will use the following credentials to log in: Last 4 digits of SS# Birthday month day year Access Code: or PIN: Last 4 digits of Social Security Number or Tax ID Number After this first login, you will be prompted to create a new 4-digit PIN to use for all future transactions with Telephone Banking. Checking, Savings & Money Market Accounts Our technology upgrade will have no effect on the interest rates paid on these accounts, and it will not reduce your Annual Percentage Yield. These accounts will continue to earn interest at the prevailing rates in accordance with the current terms and conditions of your account. will be credited to the account on the regularly scheduled interest payment date. TIN GETTING OUR NEW APP AFTER THE UPGRADE: 1. After the upgrade, log in to or register for Online Banking using a computer. 2. If you are an existing mobile customer, delete the current app as it will no longer work after the upgrade begins on Friday evening. 3. Download our new app through the Apple or Google stores. 4. Follow the in-app instructions to get started with the NEW Mobile Banking App. If your account interest payment date falls on a Saturday, interest will be calculated through that Saturday s date and will be credited to your account on the previous Friday. FOR EXAMPLE: If your account interest payment date is Saturday, August 29, 2015, interest will be calculated through that Saturday but will be paid to your account on Friday, August 28, FRIDAY 28 SATURDAY 29 Paid Calculated (on this date) (through this date) If your account interest payment date falls on a Sunday, interest will be calculated through that Sunday s date and will be credited to your account on the previous Friday. 6 Certificates of Deposit (including Individual Retirement Accounts) The upgrade will not affect the current term, interest rate or maturity date of your account, and it will not reduce your Annual Percentage Yield. paid to your account on the scheduled payment date will be posted with the amount of interest that has been calculated up to that date in other words, interest calculated through the previous day. If the scheduled payment date falls on a non-processing date (Saturday or Sunday), the payment will be made on Friday, and will reflect the Saturday or Sunday effective date. FOR EXAMPLE: If your scheduled payment date is Sunday, August 30, 2015, interest will be calculated through Saturday, August 29, 2015, and will be posted to your account on Friday, August 28, 2015, with the Sunday effective date. 28 FRIDAY Paid (on this date) SATURDAY SUNDAY Commercial Loans Account numbers will change and the new number shall arrive in a separate mailing. New Statements Calculated (through Saturday) Following the conversion, descriptions that you see on your statement may change. If your checking account and line of credit statement are currently combined, following our upgrade you will receive two separate statements. Effective August 31 st, Account Analysis charges will post on the 15 th of the following month instead of the end of the month in which the fees were accrued. Posting Order Posting is the process of recording transactions received for credit to or payment from your account. This is different from temporary holds that may be placed on your account for certain pending transactions that have not yet been submitted for actual payment. For example, as soon as we are made aware that a transaction may be made to your account, we may place a hold on your account or place a temporary credit on your account in the case of a deposit. As a result, you may see a temporary hold or credit on your account that has not yet been posted. These pending debits and credits may be actually posted to your account on that business day. In general we will process credits first. We process ACH and wire transactions as received. Next, we process checks according to the dollar amount in low to high order. Overdraft Protection If you currently have Overdraft Protection on your account using Overdraft Sweep Protection, Line of Credit, or Overdraft Privilege, this protection will continue to apply following the upgrade; however, how we process overdrafts and associated transfers to your account may change. If you have a combination of these overdraft protection services, transfers will be made in the following order: Overdraft Sweep, Line of Credit and Overdraft Privilege. If you complete a real-time transaction that exceeds your available balance, funds will be immediately transferred from your Overdraft Sweep Protection account to cover the amount of the transaction. If the transfer to cover the overdraft amount is from your Line of Credit account, interest will accrue according to the terms of your Line. For all other types of overdrafts and associated transfers, your balance will show a transfer from your linked overdraft protection account appearing as a credit in your deposit account. Depending on the source of the overdraft transaction, each transaction will trigger either a single transfer to cover all of the items or multiple transfers to cover each item individually, but only one (1) sweep fee will be applied per business day. myinvestorsbank.com/upgrade Client Care Center: iBank4U 11
