FleetBoard was developed especially for bus-specific fleet management and is aimed at fleets of public service buses and coaches. FleetBoard services include many features to optimise driving styles and procedures and as a result reduce vehicle wear and fuel consumption and increase the quality of your service. It is possible to achieve fuel savings of up to 10% by precisely analysing the driving style and using this to develop individual training. None of this requires your own computing centre: FleetBoard accesses the vehicle s electronics over the vehicle interface and transfers vehicle and driver data to the FleetBoard server via GSM/GPRS. From there, all important fleet information is available to the bus owner or fleet manager over a secure and password-protected internet connection. Take advantage of your benefits. Trip Records The Trip Records calculate all data related to the daily operations of a bus, such as drive time and idle time, door and ramp status, position and speed. Route optimisation, dispatching security and improved passenger satisfaction from better punctuality are the resulting advantages. Service The Service module evaluates operational data, mileage or fuel levels and selected alerts, such as overheating of motor or gear oil, low pressure of motor oil or worn brake linings, and provides the basis for efficient maintenance planning and repairs. Mapping Location and route of the buses at 30-second intervals with 10 minute transmission can be called at anytime and worldwide with the Mapping service. The Evaluation and archiving of tachograph data Time Management service ensures optimal usage planning based on current driving and resting times for the bus drivers. This also helps detect infringements early and therefore prevents fines. Working time data can then be directly transferred to the payroll department therefore simplifying internal administration. The Tacho Management service makes the legally required readings and archiving of driver card data very easy. The DEKRA-certified remote download makes it possible to read out the driver cards and mass storage data on the digital tachographs in the bus taking into account all legal requirements. This is a tangible benefit in particular when the driver and bus are gone for a longer period of time. The company card remains where it belongs in the company and not on the bus.
