The mission of NASPAA is to "ensure excellence in education and training for public service and to promote the ideal of public service. I am responsible for meeting the accreditation requirements for three graduate degrees at the School and to represent the school at the NASPAA annual conference.

2 2012 Present Chair, SPS Study Abroad committee As chair of the SPS Study Abroad committee I am responsible for coordinating the review and approval of new programs to Northern Ireland, Cuba, Colombia, China, Panama, Philippines and Tanzania and the coordination of existing programs in Belgium, Brazil, India, Republic of Ireland and Tanzania Present Principal Coordinator, DePaul University s Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows program As Principal Coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating the review and selection of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) who wish to pursue graduate programs in public service at the school Present Chair-Master of Science in Public Service Management (MPS) degree As chair I am responsible for student selection and advising related to our flagship MPS degree. I also oversaw faculty training and teaching and administrative support offered to around 100 current MPS students Chair-Master of Science in International Public Service (MSIPS) degree As chair I was responsible for student selection and advising related to our MSIPS degree. I also oversaw faculty training and teaching and administrative support offered to around 130 MSIPS students Chair, Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree As chair I was responsible for student selection and advising related to our MPA degree. I also oversaw faculty training and teaching and administrative support offered to around 180 MPA students Director, SPS Online program 2012 Present As Director I am responsible for student selection and advising of around 80 students in two online degree programs: MPS online and MPA online. I also oversee faculty training and teaching and administrative support offered to our online students. We use an innovative mix of asynchronous and synchronous technologies in our online classes Present Director, SPS India program As Director I was responsible for initiating and growing partnerships with two institutions in India: The DePaul Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, Kerala and the Watershed Organization Trust (WOTR), Pune, Maharashtra. I am currently responsible for developing and managing the short-term programs offered by SPS in India during the December intercession. Since 2004, around 270 American graduate students from the school have visited India and participated in these programs Present Founder and President, American Friends of WOTR, Inc. (AFOW) A charitable 501(c)(3) organization created to educate Americans on the

3 challenges of environmental degradation facing the world and the support the activities of the Watershed Organization Trust (WOTR), India.
