13 On Telepresence Telepresence has been used to describe various interactions: The experience of being fully present at a live real world location remote from one's own physical location. The remote operation of a robotic system with the aid of an immersive human interface. Making remote or distant people appear or feel present and part of the local activity using telematics or haptic technologies.
