Note: COLLABORATE Room Pro software ( ) applies to COLLABORATE Room Pro 510/520/610/620 products that run the PQ20/21/22 firmware only. Statements and functionality in this document do not apply to the COLLABORATE systems run on W7DHC01/W7C02 firmware. May 2015 Release Version (B4) - W7PQ20/PQ21/PQ22) These release notes describe the issues fixed in the COLLABORATE ROOM PRO software version (B4) - W7PQ20/PQ21/PQ22). Note: This software applies to all COLLABORATE Room Pro endpoints that run the PQ20/21 firmware only. The PQ22 version already contains the (B4) software version and does not require this update. Statements and functionality in this document do not apply to the COLLABORATE ROOM systems run on W7DHC01/W7C02 firmware. Allow the CONVERGE USB for both audio input and output. Fixed video issue with Cisco 3rd party endpoints. SIP connectivity problem when the COLLABORATE Room Pro is placed in DMZ. 3 New Features in Version Ability to control 2 PTZ cameras by using COM1 and COM2. Enables streaming or multicasting of 2 connected cameras or camera and data while not in a call. Added MP4 recording and streaming format. Added RTSP streaming. Enables local audio playback while sharing videos when not in a call. GUI improvements. Web interface improvements. Decreased audio input level causing audio distortion. Continuous reboot loop while setting an illegal system name. Crash while connecting BFM array device with older firmware. Camera pan control issue when zoomed. System IR improvement. Ability to login to webserver with Internet Explorer 10. Known Limitations Category Streaming Web Access 3rd party MCU Camera Control Audio Audio Recording Description In order to view streaming in MP4 format, VLC player should be installed. In order to browse Room Pro Web management in IE10, compatibility option should be selected. When calling to Radvision MCU Elite 5000 series, Bandwidth Adjustment option should be unchecked ( Settings > Advanced > Admin). PQ21 Firmware. After software upgrade, restore default is required, in order to control on 2 cameras via COM1 and COM 2. When mute microphone option is active while sharing a movie file, the remote side won t be able to hear the sound from the data file sound. You can t control local speakers volume while sharing a file. Audio Only session can t be recorded when MCU layout is configured to Voice Switching mode. ISDN (H.320) support through external adaptor. Content and live sharing (H.239) up to 1080p30. PTZ camera with 18X zoom. AMX Control module.uri dialing (H.323) Ability to turn on system using using the remote control by pressing on the Status button. Known Issues Category Description Workaround Registration General Video URI dialing Video When DataPoint HD is connected with no source and laptop is connected to HD Video 2, no signal message appears when trying to share data. System can t register to COLLABORATE Central when switching between COLLABORATE Central addresses. Chat 150 speakers volume buttons are not functioning During a session, switching to Side-byside mode, video is disrupted. Collaborate Room Pro can t establish a session when dialing to URI by User ID The video is not smooth when both Recording and Multicast are active before establishing a session. Disconnect the DataPoint HD USB or connect the laptop to a USB port. Switch first to None mode and press apply, then enter the new COLLABORATE Central server address and press apply. Use the COLLABORATE Room remote control to control the volume using the software. Press on the display button on the remote control The user ID must contain the server domain. (server@domain - Smith@clearone.com) Start recording and streaming after the session is established. Known Bugs Category Description General Backup/Restore GUI MCU The camera must be connected to Video HD 1, otherwise you may observe video issues. The laptop sharing option is not active if camera is not connected. It is possible to store only 1 system s backup file. Old DataPoint (VGA input) doesn t function with COLLABORATE Room Pro system. The system reloads when connecting or disconnecting a data USB adaptor Restart is required when changing system language When Polycomm is involved in 1080@60 session while recording and data are active, the session resolution decreased to 1080/30

5 Multicast Settings Sharing data via USB key is unreadable on the remote side when the local display resolution is 1080p and remote display resolution is 720p. After restore default, the multicast settings aren t properly set. In multicast settings tab, need to press default option. (Settings/Advanced/Multicast) Data Recordings You can t record data when the system is not in a call Only the side that opened the data can record it. Network Hardware Requirements After the system has recovered from network congestion, the resolution doesn t change to the native resolution.
