28 Asset History Maximo does a great job of gathering information on an Asset. However, it does not do so well at presenting this information where and when it is needed. The data is in too many different applications to review quickly and without frustration. Our clients find this very time consuming and annoying. Historical information is key when: Investigating failures Assessing asset performance Reviewing replacement decisions

29 Asset History We need to make asset history: available where and when it is needed accessible without moving to multiple applications organized in a usable format. We will add this to the Asset application and Asset Details dialog Adding this to the asset application makes it available with the rest of the asset information. Adding it to the Asset Details dialog insures it is available from all the applications.

30 Recent and Repeat Repairs Similar to the problem with asset history Some pieces of asset history are very key at key points in the repair and maintenance process No way to easy view this information Knowing that the repair you are about to make is a repeat of a recent repair can help to determine: the true source of the problem the correct repair procedure who should pay for the repair operator abuse Knowing all of the recent repairs made to an asset can help to determine: failure trends the true source of the problem operator abuse
