Important Note Please ensure that all the devices are configured correctly and are running the required firmware to support OpenAPI version 2.3.x 3.7.x connections. Please refer to the readme file for information on how to configure the devices for OpenAPI. Using XPR Enterprise Konica Minolta Embedded When the software has been configured and deployed to all the devices, the service listens for incoming connections. These connections are triggered as users log onto the devices requesting copy and/or print sessions. Authenticating There are two methods by which users can authenticate against the system. When the applications are registered to the devices they are configured to authenticate the user with either the Username/Password or User ID/PIN entered. These settings are system wide. The service will then test the credentials from incoming connections using the chosen authentication method. Authentication using Username/Password Figure 1 AIT Ltd 2014 Page 3 of 14

Authentication using UserID/PIN Figure 2 Entering login credentials Either the touch screen or the hard keys on the device can be used to enter a username. The user can then submit this by pressing OK. This screen is the same for the User ID/PIN authentication. Enter Username Figure 3 Once authenticated on the device, the user has the ability to photocopy and to release print jobs based on their balance and credit limit. Unlimited credit users are not restricted by a balance. AIT Ltd 2014 Page 4 of 14

Remote Authentication XPR Enterprise Konica Minolta Embedded also supports remote card reader and biometric authentication. If any of these devices are connected to the device they can be used to log the user in rather than keying login credentials from the touch screen. Self-Registration If remote card readers are being used on the devices for authentication and Self- Registration is enabled on the system, when an unknown card is presented to a card reader, the user will be prompted to associate their card with their Pcounter account. Self-Registration without PIN number Figure 4 Self-Registration with PIN number Figure 5 AIT Ltd 2014 Page 5 of 14

Charge Group Selection During the authentication process the user may be prompted to select a charge group to be assigned to their transaction. Select Charge Group Figure 6 Charge Group List Figure 7 Once a charge group has been selected, press OK to continue logging in to the device. AIT Ltd 2014 Page 6 of 14

Charge Sub Group Selection If any charge sub groups exist for the selected charge group, users may also be prompted to select a charge sub group to be assigned to their transaction during the authentication process. Select Charge Sub Group Figure 8 Charge Sub Group List Figure 9 After a charge sub group has been selected, press OK to continue logging in to the device. AIT Ltd 2014 Page 7 of 14

Confirmation Display This setting displays the users account information after authentication. It cannot be changed by simply stopping the service. The applications must be deregistered from all of the devices and then re-registered with the changed setting. User confirmation display Figure 10 Copying and other functions The user can now utilise all of the photocopier functionality that has been allocated to the application. They may be greeted by the Authentication Confirmation screen. If desired, this screen can be switched off at the time of deployment, on a system wide basis. AIT Ltd 2014 Page 8 of 14

Photocopying The user may start a copy session by selecting the amount, size, quality etc. Balance users are given their balance less their print job costs. Unlimited credit users are given the maximum session amount of 99999999. Start photocopying Figure 11 Select Application If both the Print and Scan applications have been installed the Select application screen will be displayed when the Print/Scan button is pressed. Printing The user may also choose to release their print jobs during this session. To do this they press the Print button on the screen. The application will then check the print queue and return all of the user s print jobs. All print jobs If print jobs exist for the user, they will be displayed as shown in Figure 5. Pressing the Update List button will re-check the print queue for any new jobs. User print jobs Figure 13 The Select All and Reset buttons will select or deselect all of the user s print jobs. Print job s can be selected individually by pressing them. Any selected print jobs will be highlighted. Pressing the Start button on the device will release the selected print jobs. If the user has sufficient funds the print jobs will be released. Unlimited credit user print jobs will be unaffected by the balance. AIT Ltd 2014 Page 10 of 14
