Intrductin The Acceleratr can ptentially be prvisined in ne f three ways based n yur Acceleratr license key. Yur license key dictates whether yur enterprise has the ability t enable Mbile UC and/r PSTN Access (SIP Trunking) functinality. During Acceleratr prvisining, a Carrier(s) was created that enabled ne r bth f these services. Hw yu integrate yur CUCME PBX with the Acceleratr depends n hw yur Carrier(s) is cnfigured n the Acceleratr. Mbile UC - The Mbile UC applicatin extends PBX and Unified Cmmunicatins (UC) features t mbile devices. Examples include Single Number, Single Vicemail, Abbreviated Dialing, and Presence Status. Fr Mbile UC, the Acceleratr uses a cmbinatin f SIP lines and trunks t integrate with the CUCME PBX. SIP lines are used s that Acceleratrcntrlled mbile devices appear as standard SIP phnes and therefre benefit frm the cmmn set f PBX services ffered t such devices. SIP trunks are used when the Acceleratr must terminate a call via the Public Switched Telephne Netwrk (PSTN). CSTA (CUCME 8.0 nly) must be enabled t supprt Call Mve service. PSTN Access (e.g. SIP Trunking Cntrller) PSTN Access facilitates interwrking between enterprise and SIP entities such as PBXs and PSTN carriers (i.e. SIP Trunking Service Prviders) as well as between internal enterprise SIP entities. Fr PSTN Access, the Acceleratr uses nly SIP trunk(s) t integrate with the CUCME PBX. Imprtant Nte: Thrugh ut this dcument and ther Tang dcuments the term PSTN Access is used t describe the functins f the SIP Trunking Cntrller prduct. These terms are interchangeable. Whenever yu see PSTN Access we are talking abut the SIP Trunking Cntrller. Mbile UC and SIP Trunking cmbinatin It is pssible t have bth the Mbile UC functinality as well as the PSTN Access functinality enabled n yur Acceleratr. April 2014 CONFIDENTIAL Page 4 f 28

Supprted Versins This dcument addresses the way that the Acceleratr integrates with Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express 7.1 and 8.0. The dcument will encmpass any release f the Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express. The screen captures n this dcument may vary depending n yur release. It is intended fr users with a thrugh understanding f the Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express. Nte: This guide is meant t familiarize the reader with the minimum prvisining steps required n the CUCME PBX fr Acceleratr integratin. It des nt attempt t address all pssible cnfiguratins ptins r features that can be applied within the PBX. Please cnsult yur CUCME dcumentatin fr Cisc Unified Cmmunicatin Manager Express specific issues. PBX Dependencies Mbile UC The fllwing lists the Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express cmpnents and license keys required fr interperating with the Acceleratr: Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Three incremental Device License Units (DLUs) per Acceleratr Subscriber Each Acceleratr-enabled mbile is cnfigured as a Third Party Basic SIP device. Each f these devices requires three DLUs each. April 2014 CONFIDENTIAL Page 5 f 28

Acceleratr Integratin Prcesses Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express Prvisining The integratin with the Acceleratr can be setup in several ways. During Acceleratr prvisining, yur enterprise selected Carrier types based n yur Acceleratr enterprise license key. Yur license key may be enabled fr Mbile UC functinality r it may be enabled fr PSTN Access functinality, r even bth. The sectins and steps utlined belw will guide yur wrkflw t integrate yur Cisc Unified Cmmunicatin Manager Express PBX with the Acceleratr. Mbile UC and PSTN Access Enabled Acceleratr Fr a Mbile UC and PSTN Access enabled Acceleratr, execute bth sets f steps utlined belw; Mbile UC Enabled Acceleratr sectin and the PSTN Access Enabled Acceleratr sectin. It des nt matter which set yu execute first, meaning it des nt matter if yu prvisin PSTN Access first r Mbile UC first. Mbile UC Enabled Acceleratr The Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express (CUCME) is prvisined manually thrugh a telnet sessin. The fllwing sectin lists the cmmands necessary t integrate the Acceleratr with the CUCME. The Acceleratr integrates with the CUCME via SIP Trunk prvisining within the Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express t prvide full functinality. The fllwing steps are based under the understanding that SIP calls have already been enabled alng with having SIP Devices prvisined apprpriately. April 2014 CONFIDENTIAL Page 6 f 28

CUCME Cnfiguratin Nte: The Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express server(s) must first be cnfigured apprpriately with dmain and hst infrmatin as well as SIP Calls and SIP devices enabled as per Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express dcumentatin. After ensuring that the Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express server(s) are cnfigured apprpriately with dmain and hst infrmatin, use the fllwing steps t establish a SIP cnnectin between the Acceleratr and the Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express. Ensure that the Acceleratr has been prvisined with the apprpriate CUCME server infrmatin as shwn in the sectin PSTN Access Enabled Acceleratr T make the Acceleratr the ingress/egress pint fr ff net calls between the PBX and yur SIP Trunk prvider, mdify yur PBX s ruting tables t send ff-net calls ver a SIP Trunk t the Acceleratr n the SIP Trunking prt (default f 5080). This SIP Trunk shuld als allw incming calls frm the Acceleratr. Make sure any required Class f Service attributes are set apprpriately n the PBX. On-net calls between PBX s can als be cnfigured t rute via the Acceleratr using a similar prcess. It is ften desirable t create a secnd SIP Trunk n the PBX in rder t specify different Class f Service attributes fr n-net calls. Cnsult yur PBX s cnfiguratin guide fr specific details n SIP Trunk cnfiguratin. Acceleratr Prvisining n page 18 f this dcument. 1. Using a terminal, access the Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express server by using the cmmand telnet <hstname>, where <hstname> is the hstname f the Unified Cmmunicatins Manager Express server r the IP Address. Lg in with the apprpriate credentials: telnet <hstname> 2. Once inside the CUCME server, view the current cnfiguratin: sh run 3. Cpy the infrmatin displayed by the previus cmmand int a text file in case this cnfiguratin needs t be reset n the server. 4. 5. Define the SIP trunk dial-peers between CUCME and the Acceleratr, Cnference server, etc. At a minimum, the fllwing dial-peers shuld be created: A dial-peer fr the utging simring numbers t the Acceleratr (alias numbers). A dial-peer fr the utging Acceleratr Pilt DNs t the Acceleratr (PDNs). A dial-peer fr the incming desk calls frm the Acceleratr (lng DNs nt shrt DNs). Other dial-peers that may be needed: Outging and incming calls t a cnference server. Outging and incming calls frm PSTN/mbiles. Dial-peers are searched frm lwest dial-peer number t highest. The first dial-peer that matches is used regardless f whether a better match exists higher up the list. The dial-peer number is nt a phne number; it is an arbitrary identifier in the system. Fr each dial-peer the fllwing infrmatin shuld be set: Fr utbund peers: a destinatin-pattern shuld match the apprpriate digits. Fr inbund peers: an incming called-number shuld match the apprpriate digits. Assign a cdec fr the dial-peer, r use a cdec class t allw a set f cdecs t be used. If translatins n the numbers shuld be perfrmed, assign the apprpriate translatin-prfile and whether r nt the utging side shuld translate the calling/called digits. Set set-dtmf relay t be rtp-nte t make sure RFC 2833 events can be negtiated. Set the sessin prtcl t sipv2. Set the dial peer sessin target IP t be the IP address f the server (remte r lcal). Disable vice activity detectin (n vad). Sample utging dial-peer fr when the CUCME sees a simring alias number: The destinatin-pattern matches the simring alias-number frmat (i.e., the secnd number in the parallel hunt grup lists).
