Prvide reprts and recmmendatins as required t the Faculty Executive n actin and apprvals taken by the cmmittee n the fllwing: cnsistency f the Faculty s graduate prgrams with the Australian Qualificatins Framewrk respnses t teaching and learning issues raised acrss the University; variatins t pathways t graduate prgrams; a prtfli f elective subjects that can be ptimally and efficiently delivered acrss graduate prgrams; 7

reviews f graduate prgrams; mnitring accredited prgrams e.g. AACSB, EQUIS, CPA; the develpment and implementatin f Faculty plicy guidelines in relatin t graduate teaching and learning; mnitring, including any changes as required, the quality f student experience thrugh the varius mechanisms used t assess student experience, e.g. the Curse Experience Questinnaire (CEQ), the Subject Experience Survey (SES), the Melburne Experience Survey (MES); transitin prgrams and careers services fr graduates prvided by the Faculty; the need fr and design f services and facilities prvided t students including teaching spaces and infrmatin services; the prvisin f prgrams and activities which enhance the diversity and mbility f the student bdy and enhance the experience f internatinal graduate and research higher degree students in the Faculty including the integratin f internatinal and dmestic students; any ther matters it cnsiders apprpriate fr review by the Faculty Executive Cmmittee. Liaise with the Bachelr f Cmmerce Curse Standing Cmmittee n matters that arise f relevance t bth cmmittees. The specific activities f this cmmittee will include, but nt be limited t: Develpment f the Faculty s engagement strategy, taking accunt f the University s engagement strategy and internatinal plans. Develp plicy and prcedures as necessary fr the pursuit f the Faculty s engagement strategy including: Engagement with lcal and internatinal alumni and alumni assciatins; Marketing and prmtin f the Faculty lcally and internatinally; Develpment and maintenance f relatinships with lcal and internatinal educatinal institutins; Recruitment f students lcally and internatinally; Maintenance f a diverse student bdy; Develpment and maintenance f links with business, gvernment, unins and NGOs lcally and internatinally; Advancement activities; The funding and prvisin f lcal and internatinal schlarships. Mnitring f peratinal activities related t the Faculty s engagement strategy. Prvisin f reprts t Faculty Executive and the Faculty Advisry Bard. The Schlarship Cmmittee is a sub cmmittee f the External Relatins Cmmittee. It meets twice a year and its membership is drawn frm the membership f the External Relatins Cmmittee, but als includes the Financial Cntrllers (2). 9

Review and mnitr current IT service levels, and cnsider new IT prjects n a regular basis by priritising these prjects t central IT. Prvide advice t the Academic Bard s IT Cmmittee and the University s central IT divisin regarding prpsed University plicies, and the impact f their implementatin t the Faculty f Business and Ecnmics. Reprt issues, and frward recmmendatins t the Faculty Executive Cmmittee, n pertinent IT matters cncerning the Faculty. 12

MBS BOARD OF DIRECTORS In accrdance with the current terms f its Cnstitutin, the MBS Bard shall cmprise the fllwing members: three directrs (appinted by the University f Melburne) Ten directrs (elected by the Dnr Members f MBS) The Vice chancellr f the University f Melburne the Dean f the MBS (appinted by the MBS Bard) the President f The Melburne University Business Schl Assciatin (r its successr) ne academic staff member (elected by and frm the academic staff) The Chairman, wh is selected by the ten Dnr Member directrs f the Bard, is the fficial spkespersn fr the Bard, unless the Bard determines therwise. In the absence f a Chair, anther directr may chair all r part f a meeting. Maximum tenure f a directr is 10 years upn which he r she must retire. STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL The SRC shall cnsist f n fewer than eight and n mre than twelve elected fficers, each entitled t ne vte. Fllwing SRC electins the fllwing executive psitins are t be elected by the SRC and must be ccupied at all time: President Vice President Treasurer Secretary In rder t be eligible t stand fr electin t the SRC the candidate must be an enrlled Melburne Business Schl student. SRC Officers are elected fr fur MBS academic terms. Elected SRC fficers may stand fr electin as many times as they are eligible.
