5 Oversee the crdinatin, mnitr and reprt n the effectiveness f n-the-jb capacity develpment interventins Spearhead annual budget allcatin fr cntinuus imprvement with respect t prgramme delivery within the sectr; Build requisite capacity, and where necessary prcure external capacity, t prvide prgramme delivery services within the sectr; Spearhead the establishment and use f sectr-related databases, infrmatin management systems and ensure that staff are trained and supprted in using these efficiently and effectively. Prvide technical supprt and advice t regins n prgrammes falling within the sectr in relatin t: Technical supprt and advise Nrms and standards Prgramme targets, utcmes and indicatrs Prcedures and prcesses Appraches, methdlgies and tls Statutes, regulatins and guidelines Perfrmance assessments and reprting. General functins Manage the applicatin f requisite resurces t achieve prgramme gals. Cmpile sectr perfrmance and ther reprts, and supprt cmpilatin f the Unit perfrmance reprts in accrdance with the rganizatin s gvernance prtcl. Manage the alignment f the functinal mandate with Sub-Unit gals (clearly define, interpret, cmmunicate and manage). Prvide supprt in the management f different stakehlders relating t the functin and sectr. Develp and manage functinal budget and institute effective cntrl measures. SECTION E: APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / LEARNING INDICATORS COMPETENCY TYPE APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION Frmal Qualificatins Minimum f a Bachelrs degree (NQF level 6) in the Built Envirnment i.e. Building Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Cnstructin Management A frmal qualificatin in Prject Management, Management r Develpment studies will be an added advantage.
