Email Migratr Help Prerequisites Email Migratr can be installed anywhere in the dmain where the migratin will take place. Supprted OS: Windws 7 and Windws 8 (x86 and x64) Windws Server 2003 and later (x86 and x64) Requirements:.NET Framewrk 3.5 Outlk: - required nly with Exchange 2003 ptinal with later Exchange Servers when installed, bitness must be the same as the OS bitness ATTENTION: Fr migratin frm EmailXtender, Email Migratr must be installed directly n the EmailXtender machine. Als be sure yu have EmailXtender UnPackCntainer utility installed n EmailXtender machine (usually in "C:\Prgram Files (x86)\otg\emailxtender\bin\utils" flder). Fr migratin frm NearPint, Email Migratr must be installed directly n the NearPint machine. Als be sure yu have NearPint MBlbViewer utility installed n NearPint machine (usually in "C:\Prgram Files (x86)\mimsa\nearpint" flder). 5
Email Migratr Help Installatin Installatin Steps 1. Cpy the EmailMigratr.exe file t the machine where the Email Migratr shuld be installed n. 2. Clse all ther pen applicatins, including Internet Explrer. 3. Open Windws Explrer t the flder cntaining the Metalgix Email Migratr installer file. Duble-click the EmailMigratr.exe t start the installatin prcess. Because this installer requires an elevated set f permissins t run, if yu d nt have the required permissins a message will pen infrming yu that elevated permissins are required. T run the installer with these elevated permissins, select the installer file, right-click and select the Run as administratr ptin. 4. The Metalgix Email Migratr InstallShield Wizard pens. In the initial dialg click Next t cntinue. 5. The License Agreement pens. Read thrugh the License Agreement. If yu agree t the terms f the license agreement, click the I accept f the license agreement radi buttn. Then click Next t cntinue. There is als a Print buttn n this screen if users wuld like t have a hard cpy f the license agreement. If yu d nt agree t the terms f the license agreement, click the I d nt accept the terms f the license agreement ptin, and the installatin will be canceled. 6. Nw click the Install buttn t run the installatin prcess. 6
7. The installatin prcess will run, and the Email Migratr will be installed. 8. Once the installatin prcess has been cmpleted, click Finish t exit the InstallShield Wizard. 7
Email Migratr Help Entering License Key When launching the Email Migratr fr the first time (r launching it after yur license has expired), yu will be prmpted t input an Activatin License Key. If yu are trying t install a new license key ver an existing key yu can d s by ging t the ribbn and selecting Help > Update License. 1. In the license activatin dialg, select I have a license key, and enter the license key, prvided with yur evaluatin r cmmercial license activatin email (the key can be cpy and pasted int the prvided space). Alternately, if yu are using an lder versin f the license key, select the I am updating frm an lder versin and have an ld-style key ptin, and enter the key in the prvided space (the key can be cpy and pasted int the prvided space). 2. Next select the activatin methd. Mst systems can use the Online activatin methd, as lng as the system has internet access. In sme cases users are unable t use the nline activatin due t security setting r n internet access. In these particular cases the Offline activatin ptin can be selected. Online Activatin 1. After the license key is entered, select the Online activatin ptin. In sme cases users may be trying t authenticate the key thrugh a prxy. T d this click the Set prxy ptin. This ptin is nt required in mst standard cases. 2. Click Next. 3. The Email Migratr will cntact the licensing server and attempt t authenticate the license key. Once it is successful a Cngratulatins! message will be returned, and the license key will be active and in use. 4. Click Finish t cmplete the prcess. 8
Offline Activatin This ptin is generally used in cases where users are unable t use the nline activatin, due t security setting r n internet access. This ptin will still require sme internet access, but allws the authenticatin t be dne frm anther machine, i.e. a machine that has internet access. 1. Select the Offline activatin ptin. 2. Click Next. 3. A Generate Activatin Request dialg will be displayed. In the Activatin Request windw f this dialg will be a different key. The key in this windw cannt be edited. This key is used t help activate the license frm anther lcatin. This key can either be cpied frm the windw, r the Save t file ptin can be used t save the key int a text file (in case it needs t be cpied t anther machine). There is als an Activatin URL listed under the Activatin Request. Cpy this URL t a web brwser that has internet access. Alternately if the system the Email Migratr is n des have internet access thrugh a web brwser, click G t autmatically pen a web brwser t this URL. Navigate t the Activatin URL n a machine that has internet access. 4. On the Offline Activatin page, in the web brwser, enter the activatin text int the Activatin data text bx. Or if the key was saved t a file, select Brwse and navigate t the file with the activatin text. 5. Once the text is entered, click Activate. 6. The screen will refresh, and an Activatin Successful message shuld be listed next t the text bx. The text bx itself will have a new key entered in it. Yu can cpy this text by either: Clicking the Dwnlad file buttn. This will save the new authenticated license as a DAT file called "LicenseActivatinRespnse" t a lcatin n that lcal system. Clicking the Cpy text buttn. This will attempt t cpy the text nt the lcal systems clipbard, s it can be later pasted int the Email Migratr, r pasted int anther file. If the cpy t the clipbard is successful, a message will be displayed stating "Activatin Text successfully cpied t the clipbard". Click OK t cntinue. Manually cpy the text, by right-clicking in the text bx and using the Select all ptin, then right-click again and chse Cpy. Once the authenticated license has been cpied, return t Email Migratr. 7. If still n the Generate Activatin Request windw, click Next. This shuld mve t the Enter yur Activatin Respnse windw. 8. Paste the new license key int this windw (right-click inside the text bx, and chse Paste. Alternately if the license was saved t a file frm the web page, the Lad frm file ptin can be used t navigate t, and select, the DAT file. This wuld then lad the license. Once the license has been entered, click Next. 9. The authenticated license has nw been entered int the Email Migratr. A Cngratulatins! message will be returned, and the license key will be active and in use. 10. Click Finish t cmplete the prcess. 9
Email Migratr Help Checking Current License In the event that a licensing change was made after the license key fr Email Migratr has been installed, r if users just want t check the current status f the license key, they can g t the Abut dialg. This dialg gives details abut the current license key, such as the type f license, expiry date (if any), the number f servers used, the number f seats, any size limitatins fr the migratin, and hw many mailbxes has already been migrated. If any changes are made t the license key, this dialg can be updated. The steps t d this are belw. 1. In the Email Migratr ribbn menu, g t Help and click the Abut buttn. 2. In the dialg that pens, click the Refresh buttn. This will frce a refresh f this data frm the licensing servers, and update the infrmatin. NOTE: If an Offline license is used, the ffline key prcess will need t be used t d this update instead, unless the system the Email Migratr is installed n has internet access. 10
Email Migratr Help Cnfiguring Prxy Settings In mst cases Email Migratr can autmatically authenticate license keys, thrugh an envirnment's prxy setting, hwever, in sme cases the prxy may need t be cnfigured within the Email Migratr. In these cases users can specify the prxy settings thugh the cnnecting dialg. This page will review hw t set the prxy settings fr these special cases. 1. Click the Set prxy link available next t the Activate Online ptin. Then in the pp-up check the Enable prxy ptin. 2. Enter the Server name and Prt fr the prxy. This text bx allws users t specify the specific server name r IP fr the prxy, and the specific prt the prxy can be set in. 3. Next, specify the credentials t use when cnnecting. The credentials f the current user will be selected by default (the Windw authenticatin credentials), and the Dmain/user name is displayed beside the first radi buttn ptin. Alternatively, users can specify alternate credentials by clicking the Different user radi buttn, and entering an alternate user name and passwrd. 4. Once the prxy ptins are set (if there are any) select Set t return t the cnnectin dialg. The prxy cnfiguratin shuld be cmplete, and users shuld be able t authenticate their license key thrugh this prxy. 11

Email Migratr Help Uninstall It is recmmended that uninstalling Email Migratr shuld be initiated frm the EmailMigratr.exe file. Using this methd will autmatically uninstall all cmpnents f the applicatin. 1. Navigate t the lcatin that cntains the EmailMigratr.exe file. Run the EXE file. 2. The Metalgix Email Migratr InstallShield Wizard pens. 3. Select the Remve radi buttn and click Next t cntinue the uninstallatin. 4. Click Yes t cnfirm uninstallatin. The Email Migratr will be uninstalled. 5. After Finish is clicked the Metalgix Email Migratr InstallShield Wizard will clse. If the uninstallatin f Email Migratr is cmplete and n additinal cmpnents need t be uninstalled. 15

The mst cmmnly used authenticatin types are the fllwing: Kerbers - recmmended when Exchange Server is in the same dmain as Email Migratr; fr this type f authenticatin the Exchange Server must be specified by server name (nt the IP address) Basic - recmmended when Exchange Server is in different dmain as Email Migratr; the basic authenticatin must be enabled fr PwerShell Web Service n the target Exchange Server Default - will try t use Kerbers r Negtiate authenticatin mechanism Negtiate - Windws authenticatin must be enabled fr PwerShell Web Service n the Exchange Server NOTE: Other authenticatin types can be used at administratr's cnvenience. Fr mre infrmatin n individual authenticatin ptins and necessary settings, see the sectin PwerShell Authenticatin. Only the checked item types are prcessed during the migratin. If nthing is selected n this tab, nthing will be migrated. Tw fields - Standard Message Classes and Shrtcuts - represent tw item subclasses. The Standard message classes field cntains all Exchange defined message classes. Select which message classes shuld be migrated (e.g. Calendar, Cntacts, Pst etc.). In the Shrtcut field ne can select if shrtcuts, if present in the mailbx(es), shuld be migrated as well. Email Migratr Help Main Tlbar At the tp f the Email Migratr there is a Ribbn menu that allws access t fur menu grup settings. These menu grup settings are: Cnnectin, View, Settings, and Help. This sectin will breakdwn hw t use the Ribbn, as well as list the available ptins in each menu grup. Using the Ribbn The Email Migratr menu ribbn can be Expanded r Minimized t fit user needs. By default this ribbn is Expanded, but it can be minimized by clicking the "Up" arrw t the tp right-hand side f the tl bar menu (in line with the menu grup headings). This will turn int a "dwn" arrw if the ribbn is minimized, and can be used t expand the ribbn again. When the ribbn is expanded a set f ptins will becme available depending n which menu heading is selected. These ptins are nly available when the specific menu headings are selected. Fr example, the Cnnect t Exchange ptin is nly available when the Cnnectin menu heading is selected. When the ribbn is minimized the ptins will nly becme visible when a menu heading is selected, therwise nly the menu headings will be listed. The minimize expand ptins can als be accessed when right-clicking n an ptin within the ribbn itself. This pens a cntext (right-click) menu where the Minimize the Ribbn ptin can be selected. If there is n existing checkmark beside this ptin, then the ribbn is currently expanded, but if there is a checkmark by the ptin then the ribbn is currently minimized. Email Migratr Help Explrer Windws and Views The Metalgix Email Migratr's user interface uses an Explrer Cntrl style windw t navigate, view, and select the desired cntent fr migratin. The Explrer Cntrl windw is brken up int tw separate tab ptins: Explrer View, and Brwser view: Explrer View - This is an Explrer tree view f the servers that are cnnected t Email Migratr. The tree view lets users easily navigate t a site, list r flder f their chsing, and run actins n these servers r flders straight frm the selected nde. Brwser View - The Brwser view will display any selected nde frm the Explrer View in the frmat that it wuld appear in, if navigated t using a Web Brwser, and is fully interactive. Any actin that can be perfrmed in archive system frm a nrmal web brwser can als be perfrmed in the Brwser View. In the Explrer windw there is als a Lcatin bar. This bar will display the full lcatin f the selected nde (fr that windw). The Lcatin bar can be cpied t a clipbard fr ther use. This line will als wrk as a navigatin link, and clicking n this link will pen the selected lcatin in a brwser windw, e.g. in case f an Exchange cnnectin using the EWS cnnectr clicking this link will navigate yu t the respective flder r item in (Outlk Web Access) OWA. Bth tabs cntain its wn set f ptins fr viewing cntent and data. This page will review which the available ptins are fr each tab. The filtering and srting ptins are nly available n the rt cnnectin ndes. Explrer View Tab The Explrer view tab allws users t navigate thrugh their varius cnnectins using a tree view methd. This allws users t navigate t, and select a desired mailbx under a specific cnnectin. If there are mre than 500 mailbxes under the selected cnnectin, they will be gruped alphabetically fr better transparency. As the cursr is hvered ver the items in the Explrer view, checkbxes appear next t the items allwing multi-select. There are a set f filtering ptins that are available t users in this tab, as well as a set f rdering ptins. This allws users t display, srt, and filter all f their cnnectins as desired. The Filtering ptins are brken up int three main parts: a text Filter value, Cnnectins Filter, and Status Filter. Nte: Any cnnectins that are nt visible when filtering is applied are nt actually remved frm Email Migratr, they are nly hidden frm the current view. Filter - This ptin cnsists f tw parts, a text bx field and a buttn t run the filter. Users can enter any desired text value in the filter text bx (any text/number cmbinatin). After the value is entered users can either click the Enter key n the keybard, r they can click the Filter buttn next t the filter text bx t run the filter actin. Only cnnectins that cntain the entered value will be displayed. Only a single text value filter can be used at a time. Fr example, if users nly want t view cnnectins that cntain "2010" in the URL, they can enter "2010" in the Filter text bx, and click the Filter buttn t the right f the text value. The filter will then be applied t all cnnectins in that Explrer View tab, and nly cnnectins that cntain a "2010" value will be displayed. T remve a text bx filter, delete the filter value frm the text bx and re-run the filter actin. Cnnectins Filter ( ) - This is the secnd f the three main filtering ptins, and cnsists f a drp dwn ptin that is next t the text bx filtering ptin (abve). This drp dwn menu allws users t filter ut cnnectins frm the Explrer View tab. In Email Migratr there are all available cnnectins in this drp dwn menu. By default, all f these ptins are selected, meaning that all cnnectin types are visible in the Explrer View tab. A checkmark will be listed beside each ptin in the drp dwn menu that is currently included and being displayed in the Explrer View tab. The Srting ptin can be chses frm the Srt By drp dwn menu. All f the srt ptins are available in ascending rder nly. The available ptins are: Default - This is the default srting actin and will list all f the added cnnectins in the rder they were added t the Email Migratr Explrer View tab. Type - This srt type will list all f the visible cnnectins by their Type. These are the same types that are listed in the Cnnectins Filter drp dwn menu. Present cnnectr ndes will be listed alphabetically. Url - This srt type will list all f the visible cnnectins in alphabetical rder f the URL. This ignres the "http://" at the beginning f the URL and takes the remainder fr rdering. Users can cmbine the varius filter ptins with the desired srt methd t display nly a desired set f cnnectins. Brwser View Tab The Brwser View tab is available fr any archive cnnectr nde that is selected in the Explrer View tab. When selected, this tab will display a fully functining web brwser view f the selected cntent. Users can use this Brwser View t navigate r wrk with their cntent, the same way they wuld thrugh a nrmal web brwser windw. 70

Email Migratr Help Jb List The Jb List view can be pened r clsed frm the View > Shw Jbs List ptin in the main tlbar. Jbs in Email Migratr can be managed frm the Jb List. In the Jb List sectin Jbs can be selected individually, r multiple jbs can be selected with multi-select. Belw is a quick breakdwn f sme f the ptins: File - This allws users t create, pen, and save Jb Lists, as well as directly cnnect t a Jb database, r even imprt Jbs frm an XML file. Users can als quickly access ne f the last jbs t have been selected frm a quick list at the bttm f the File drp dwn ptin. When a Jb List is selected the Jb List area will ppulate with any jbs that exist in the Jb List, and users can run ther peratins n individual r multiple Jbs. Run Jbs - This ptin allws users t run any selected Jbs that exist in the Jb List. Delete Jbs - This will Delete any Jbs that are selected in the current Jb List. View Lg - This ptin will allw users t select and view Lg files fr any selected Jbs. A Lg Viewer dialg bx will pen, and here users can filter and view any lg files. Fr mre infrmatin n this, please see the sectin n Lg Files. Change Cnfiguratin - This ptin allws users t select a specific jb in a Jb List, and change the cnfiguratin f that jb. The ptins fr the cnfiguratin change will be different depending n the type f jb that was created. Navigate - This ptin allws users t navigate t either the surce r target f the selected jb. If the Navigate > T Surce ptin is selected then the left-hand Explrer View windw will pen and navigate t the surce lcatin fr the selected jb. If the Navigate > T Target ptin is selected, then the right-hand Explrer View windw will pen and navigate t the target lcatin f the selected jb. Right-clicking n any f the Jbs in the Jb List will als pen sme ptins fr users. Mst f these ptins will remain the same except fr tw new nes: Cpy selected jb t clipbard - This ptin allws users t cpy the text frm any selected jb file t the clipbard, which can then be pasted int a wrd file r a spreadsheet. When a jb list is selected, nly the ttal r end result f the jb will be given. Individual jb file items must be selected and cpied separately. Fr mre infrmatin n this ptin, please see the Lg File sectin. Exprt selected jb t xml - This ptin will pen a lg file fr a selected Jb as an XML file. The XML file will autmatically pen in whatever prgram is set as the default applicatin fr XML files, where it can be saved t any desired lcatin. View aggregate lg fr selected jbs - This ptin is nly available if multiple jbs are select in the Jb List. This ptin will pen all f the lgs fr all f the selected Jbs in a single Lg Viewer. This allws lgs fr multiple jbs t be reviewed in a single windw. Rename Jb - This allws users t change the name f the selected Jb. Please see the sectin n Lg Files fr mre infrmatin n this tpic. 72
Email Migratr Help Lg Files Metalgix Email Migratr has a live view f its lgging. When starting an actin, users have the ability t click Details>> in the prgress dialg bx, and they will be able t view the lgs fr the actin, even while it is still running. The lgs are fully searchable, and are based n SQL Cmpact Editin (SQL CE) file types. The lg files are tied int Jb files (.LST), and these files are limited t 4GB in size. ATTENTION: All lgging in Email Migratr is dne thrugh jbs. If a jb list is deleted frm the Jb List sectin, all lgging fr thse actins will als be deleted. There is n backup fr the jb lists, unless the jb is manually saved t anther lcatin by the user. Once a jb list is deleted, all lgging fr the actins within that jb list are gne. Email Migratr will autmatically hld any jb lists created thrugh any cpy r cmpare actins, in the Jb Lists sectin, and these jb lists can nly be deleted thrugh the apprpriate Delete cmmands. The jb lists can als be manually selected and saved thrugh the Jb list sectin. The secnd type f jb file, is a jb list. A jb list is a cllectin f jb items, and can be selected in the Jb List sectin. A Jb list is created fr each migratin actin that is made. Any "Cpy" actin/jb that is in the Jb List sectin can be used as the base f an incremental cpy jb. Jb items can be viewed in the Lg Viewer, by pening a jb list. There are three basic ways t pen a jb list t access the Lg Viewer: Duble-click n a jb list. Select a jb list, and click the View Lg buttn in the Jb List sectin f the tlbar. Select a jb, right-click, and select View lg fr selected jb. Frm the Lg Viewer users can select and view any jb items that exists within that jb list. Or it can be used fr mdifying a previusly exprted Jb, and re-imprting it back after sme manual changes have been made. 73
Nte: If the XML file that is being imprted cntains the same ID value as an already existing Jb, then the imprt will fail. T imprt an XML file t the Jb List, users can d the fllwing: 1. Have an XML file that is already set t be imprted that uses a different ID value frm any existing Jbs (this shuld nly be an issue if the XML file was previusly exprted frm Email Migratr). 2. In the Jb List, select File > Imprt Jbs Frm Xml. 3. This will pen a file brwser windw that can be used t navigate t, and select, the XML file fr imprt. Select the desired file and click Open. 4. Email Migratr will attempt t imprt the Jb file. If successful, the jb will be listed in the Jb List sectin, and can be viewed the same as any ther Jb. If unsuccessful, an errr message will be given. Exprting Jb Files as XML Lgs in the Jb List als can be exprted/viewed as XML. T d this: 1. Select the desired jb in the Jb List sectin. 2. Right-click, and select Exprt selected jb t xml. This will pen the lg file fr the jb as an XML file. The XML file will autmatically pen in whatever prgram is set as the default applicatin fr XML files, where it can be saved t any desired lcatin. Lg Item Details The Lg Item Details windw can be reached by a few different methds. These methds include: duble-clicking n a jb item in the Lg Viewer, duble-clicking an item in the Details sectin f an actin, r as a right-click ptin in the Details f an actin. Additinally lgging infrmatin can be viewed abut each jb item in the Lg Item Details dialg. 74
Time Started - What time the specific actin was started. Time Finished - What time the specific actin was finished. Operatin - Lists the type f the last peratin perfrmed n the item. Status - Lists the status type f the item. this culd be: cmpleted, failed r warning. Item Name - Fr items this will display the Item ID. Data Migrated - Lists the number f mailbxes that were cpied in the actin. Surce - Lists the Surce URL fr the item. Target - Lists the Target URL fr the item. Cpying f lgs fr jbs can be dne as ften as necessary, as lng as users are still able t view the jb. The lg infrmatin frm the jbs will be cpied as text, t the clipbard, and can then be pasted within any ther applicatin that allws text pasting. Fr example, if a cpy actin was made, the lgging can be cpied int a Wrd file, r int an excel spreadsheet, then saved. Email Migratr Help Resurce Utilizatin Settings Metalgix Email Migratr has the ability t manage its perfrmance level thrugh the Resurce Utilizatin Setting. This type f management is als knwn as thrttling, and is used fr any migratin actin that is run with the Email Migratr. T access this feature g t the Email Migratr's ribbn and select Settings > Edit resurce utilizatin setting. This will pen a new windw: This new windw displays a slide bar, with Efficiency n the left-hand side, and Speed n the right-hand side. By default this value will be set in the center r the slide bar. This is the recmmended setting fr best perfrmance and resurce utilizatin (use f RAM, CPU and Netwrk lad) during a migratin. If the slide bar is further t the left, the migratin will run slwer, but will have less chances f verlading the available resurces and causing ptential errrs. If the slide bar is farther t the right, it with use mre system resurces, and can speed the migratin up, but culd cause sme ptential errrs if the system resurces cannt handle the data being migrated. There is a chance that if the speed is t high, yu wuld actually see a slwdwn in the verall migratin, because the migratin is trying t run actins faster than the resurces prperly allw. The actual values that are prvided in the slide bar are determined by the systems resurces (the system that has Email Migratr installed n it). A system with high resurces will be able t run faster migratins, even if using the default setting (which is fr the slide-bar t be in the middle), because it's ver all available resurces will be higher. This als means that the Efficiency and Speed values will have a larger spread between them. A system that has lw resurces will run slwer, simply because it desn't have the resurces t run at faster levels. Again, this als affects the default values fr Efficiency and Speed, since these numbers will be lwer, and have a smaller spread between them. Nte: If the Efficiency is set t maximum (all the way t the left), the migratin will run slwer, but the "slwest" speed will be the same between systems with high and lw resurces. The "slwest" value between systems will always be the same, hwever, the "highest" value will be different based n the systems resurces. 82
Email Migratr Help Autmatic Updates Metalgix Archive Manager has the ability t autmatically check with Metalgix (nline) t see if there is a mre recent versin f the Email Migratr that is available fr dwnlad. This gives users easier access t new builds, and prvides a direct line t dwnlad and install the Email Migratr. Every time Email Migratr is started it will autmatically check with the Metalgix website t see if there are any new updates, t help users ensure that they are wrking with the mst recent build, with all the latest features and fixes that are available. This check requires that the system that the Email Migratr is installed n has internet access. While the Email Migratr will check every time it is pened, it is als pssible t manually run the check. T d this g t the Help ptin in the tlbar, and select Check update. If the user is already running the latest build, the Check fr Updates dialg will pen, and the user will be infrmed that they already have the latest versin installed. If there is a new build available fr dwnlad the Dwnlad and Install Update dialg will pen. Running the Autmatic Update 1. When the Email Migratr runs a check fr updates, and finds a newer build available, users will be prmpted t update with the Prduct update infrmatin dialg. 2. The available ptins in the Prduct update infrmatin dialg are: Update - Select this ptin and click OK and Dwnlad t dwnlad the latest versin. Remind me later - Select this ptin t skip this dialg. A new versin reminder appears when Email Migratr is started next time. Skip this versin - Select this ptin nt t be ntified f this versin. Ntifying dialg will appear nly when a next new versin is available. Turn ff autmatic updating - Select this ptin t disable the autmatic update check. Hwever, new versins can still be checked manually frm the ribbn menu by clicking Help > Check fr Updates. NOTE: In case yur maintenance license has expired already, yu will nt be eligible t install the new versin. Shuld yu still wish t update, click the Metalgix sales link t cntact Metalgix sales department. 83
3. If the Update ptin is selected the Dwnlad and Install Update dialg will pen. 4. Click the Dwnlad buttn. This will allw users t directly dwnlad the latest build t their current machine. The prgress f the dwnlad will be displayed in the Dwnlad prgress bar. NOTE: If users are accessing the internet thrugh a prxy server the here link can be clicked t pen the prxy cnfiguratin dialg. 5. Once the dwnlad is cmplete, click OK t cntinue. 6. The Dwnlad and Install Update dialg will still be pen, but the Dwnlad buttn will be replaced with the Install buttn. Email Migratr Help Cnfiguring Prxy Settings In mst cases Email Migratr can autmatically authenticate license keys, thrugh an envirnment's prxy setting, hwever, in sme cases the prxy may need t be cnfigured within the Email Migratr. In these cases users can specify the prxy settings thugh the cnnecting dialg. This sectin will review hw t set the prxy settings fr these special cases. 1. Click the Set prxy link in the Activate License Key case, next t the Online Activatin ptin. In the pp-up dialg check the Enable prxy check-bx. 2. Enter the Server name and Prt fr the prxy. This text bx allws users t specify the specific server name r IP fr the prxy, and the specific prt the prxy can be set in. 3. Next, specify the credentials t use. The credentials f the current user will be selected by default (the Windw authenticatin credentials), and the Dmain/username is displayed beside the first radi buttn ptin. Alternatively, users can specify alternate credentials by clicking the Different user radi buttn, and entering an alternate username and passwrd. 4. Once the prxy ptins are set (if there are any) select Set t return t the previus dialg.
