In early 2014, COFELY BESIX Facility Management LLC acquired a 49% stake in the company, to create COFELY BESIX MANNAI facility management (CBMFM) LLC. The combined strengths of these two companies enable us to consistently deliver first class integrated facility management services, with all tasks completed in-house. The tower is cylindrical in shape and measures 45 metres in diameter. It is capped by a dome and topped by a lightning conductor at a level of 231.5 metres above ground, with a total built up area of approximately 110,000 square metres. It has 46 floors and 3 basement levels with the space for 847 vehicle parking spaces. With over 48, 919 m2 of rentable space. It is making steady progress in ramping up production after selling first commercial shipment of GTL Gasoil in June 2011. Pearl GTL s control room is the nerve centre of one of the largest and most sophisticated plants ever built in the energy industry. The control room includes almost 1,000 circuitry control cabinets and 200 computer servers programmed with 12 million separate software codes. The system is linked to every part of the plant by almost 6,000 kilometres of cables. Objectives Ras Laffan, Qatar has an extreme climate where the harsh environment is punishing on equipment. Maintenance of these systems requires effort, expertise and dedication. CBMFM delivers maintenance services that always keep production critical HVAC equipment in working condition. CBMFM has achieved this through the 80 staff who are carefully selected for their qualifications and technical capabilities with full engineering support. CBMFM recognises that HVAC services to sophisticated control rooms, substations, laboratories and other buildings on the plant are critical to the operation of electrical and instrumentation systems without which production cannot continue. 17 18
