Search for Mail 7. Create Profile Name: DOP Office 365 8. Enter your Name, full DOP Email Address, and Password 9. Click Next 10. If you re prompted to enter your credentials again, and you can t authenticate, try changing the username to your full DOP email address 11. Click Finish 12. Select Always use this profile 13. Select the profile you just created in the dropdown 14. Click OK to close the window 15. Open Outlook Page 1 of 5
16. Outlook will begin to synchronize with Office365. This may take a few minutes to a few hours Outlook 2010 Setup on DOP Network 3. Search for Mail 7. Create Profile Name: DOP Office 365 8. Select E-mail Account. The Name and E-mail Address fields should be pre-populated. 9. Click Next 10. If you re prompted to enter your credentials, and you can t authenticate, try changing the username to your full DOP email address 11. Click Finish 12. Select Always use this profile 13. Select the profile you just created in the dropdown 14. Click OK to close the window 15. Open Outlook 16. Outlook will begin to synchronize with Office365. This may take a few minutes to a few hours Outlook 2010 Manual Setup Use this method only if the prior methods fail. 3. Search for Mail 7. Create a Profile Name: DOP Office 365 8. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types 9. Select Microsoft Exchange or compatible service 10. Type Server: outlook.office365.com 11. Check the Use Cached Exchange Mode box 12. Type your User Name: your-user-name @dop.hawaii.edu 13. Click More Settings button > Connection tab 14. Check the Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP box 15. Click the Exchange Proxy Settings button Page 2 of 5
16. Set the settings exactly as shown below 17. 18. Click OK 19. Click OK 20. Click Next 21. Login with your full DOP email address and password 22. Click Finish 23. Select Always use this profile 24. Select the profile you just created in the dropdown 25. Click OK to close the window 26. Open Outlook 27. Outlook will begin to synchronize with Office365. This may take a few minutes to a few hours Android Setup 1. Goto Settings > Accounts and Sync 2. Remove any old DOP email accounts 3. Add Account 4. Select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 5. Enter your full DOP email address and password 6. Press Next 7. Set your Account options Page 3 of 5
8. Accept any warnings, and notices 9. Setup a passcode if prompted 10. Assign your account a name 11. Press Done If you re unable to sync your phone, try using the Manual Setup 1. Domain\user name: \ your-user-name @dop.hawaii.edu 2. Exchange server: outlook.office365.com 3. Check the Use secure connection (SSL) box iphone/ipad Setup 1. Goto Setttings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar 2. Remove any old DOP email accounts 3. Add Account 4. Select Microsoft Exchange 5. Type your full DOP email address and password 6. Type Description: DOP Office 365 7. Press Next 8. If prompted: a. Type Server: outlook.office365.com b. Domain: leave blank c. Type Username: your-user-name@dop.hawaii.edu 9. Press Next 10. Select folders to synchronize 11. Setup a passcode if prompted 12. Complete the setup Outlook Web Access 1. Open a web browser and go to https://login.microsoftonline.com 2. Login with your full DOP email address, and password 3. Click on the menu options at the top to access email 4. a. Outlook = Email b. Calendar c. People = Address Book/Contacts Page 4 of 5
