3 A. iphone/ipad (ios 7.1.2) To Setup PolyU Connect The following illustrations are based on iphone 5 running ios Select Settings 2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars 3. Select Add Account 4. Select Microsoft Exchange 5. Enter the following info., then select Next Password Your password Description e.g. PolyU Connect (Wait for a moment) 6. Make sure Mail option is ON. (Other settings are optional.) 7. Select Save -- Finish -- *Remarks: Please enter outlook.office365.com, if the Server cannot be found. iphone - To Download other MS Office Related Apps To download, search the following Apps Name as listed below in App Store. Enter your PolyU Connect (i.e. ) 3. Enter your password 4. Select Manual Setup 5. Select Exchange Active Sync as the type of account in Add new account page 6. Enter the following info., then select Next Username Server Use secure connection (SSL) Accept all SSL certificates outlook.office365.com (Check it) (Check it) 7. Select OK 8. Select your preferred options and then select Next 9. Enter a description (e.g. PolyU Connect) 10. Select Done (The Inbox will then be opened) 11. 6 C. Android Platform (version 4.3) To Setup PolyU Connect PolyU Connect Mobile Connection Setup Guide The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Android OS Ver a. Select Settings > Accounts > Add account b. Select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync c. Select Next d. Enter your PolyU Connect (i.e. ) and your password e. Wait for several minutes and then follow the step 6 - step 10 Remarks: If your cannot be configured automatically, please follow the settings (step 1 - step 10) below. 1. Select application to show the Set up page 2. Enter your PolyU Connect (i.e. ) and your password 3. Select Manual Setup 4. Select Exchange Active Sync 5. Enter the following info., then select Next Domain\username \ Exchange server outlook.office365.com 6. Select OK 7. Select your preferred options and then select Next 8. If this screen shown, click Activate 9. Enter a description (e.g. PolyU Connect) 10. Select Done (The Inbox will then be opened) V1.7 6/10

8 D. Windows Phone 7 - Setup PolyU Connect The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Windows Phone If this is the first account to be set up, select the setup on the home screen. (or select Settings > & accounts > add an account) 2. Select Outlook in the ADD AN ACCOUNT page 3. Enter your PolyU Connect (i.e. ), your password and select sign in 4. Your account will be configured automatically. If your PolyU Connect CANNOT be configured automatically, please follow the following steps. a. Select Settings > & accounts > add an account b. Select advanced setup in the ADD AN ACCOUNT page c. In the ADVANCED SETUP page, enter your information as shown and select Next accordingly address Password Account type user name Domain Server Your password Exchange ActiveSync (Leave it blank) outlook.office365.com d. Click sign in to continue. Wait for a while, your account will be configured. V1.7 8/10

9 E. Windows Phone 8.1 To Setup PolyU Connect The following illustrations are based on a mobile device using Windows Phone 8.1. (Your account will be configured automatically) 1. Select the mail icon if this is the first account to be set up. (or, select Settings > +accounts > add an account) 2. Select Outlook 3. Enter your PolyU Connect (i.e. )and your password 4. Select sign in *Remarks: If your PolyU Connect CANNOT be configured automatically, please follow the following steps. 1. Select Settings > +accounts > add an account > advanced setup 2. Select Exchange ActiveSync address Password user name Domain Server 3. Enter your information as shown Your password (Leave it blank) outlook.office365.com 4. Select your preferred options 5.
