Job description Job title: ivision: Online Community Manager Marketing ivision ate: August 2015 Reporting to: Responsible for: Main contacts: User xperience Manager Online Community Coordinator Internal: Marketing team and various contacts around the organisation xternal: Contacts from all AAT audiences Major objectives To contribute to the achievement of AAT s business plan objectives and the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation by: acting as the Online Community Manager for all aspects of AAT s social media strategy helping to establish AAT as an innovative organization in their use of social media channels Responsibilities Create a high quality online community that provides AAT members and stakeholders with environments in which they can communicate and interact with the organisation and each other Manage Online Community Coordinator Identify and implement opportunities for social media to contribute to AAT s strategic objectives Assist parts of the business in planning social media elements of marketing campaigns Manage Online Community team budget Provide reporting on online community growth, social media impact on activities/campaigns and contribute to Board reports, where necessary mbed social media throughout AAT by sharing updates, best practice, success stories and offering training to AAT employees Identify opportunities for AAT to create original, high quality content (text, graphics, video etc) that meets AAT stakeholder requirements Oversee Student Recruitment team s use of social media to engage with prospects Write AAT s social media policy, and review/update it regularly Maintain a good knowledge of the education and small business landscapes, and identify opportunities for AAT to become involved in and/or lead online discussion Build and maintain relationships with internal and external AAT stakeholders, while maintaining an awareness of political sensitivities. Identify AAT advocates, bring to the attention of the PR team and conceive ways to get them involved in content creation Work with PR Team and Content Manager to ensure AAT-produced content and related campaigns are prominently and repeatedly shared on appropriate social media channels Manage the Online Community Team s design requirements, including booking time, writing briefs,
raising required amends, etc. nsure social media communications adhere to AAT brand guidelines Maintain guidelines to help AAT staff learn when/whether/how to respond to relevant discussion on social media Assess and consult on potential new social media channels for AAT to use, ensuring platform creep is avoided Offer best practice tips/consultation on writing online copy, blogging, using content management systems, search engine optimisation, user-generated content, social media policy as and when required Share insights from AAT s social media strategy at external events as required, establishing AAT as a thought leader amongst associations/membership bodies Identify, evaluate and implement opportunities for social media to contribute to AAT s Global evelopment strategy valuate possibilities for social media customer service at AAT Customer centricity evelop friendly, positive and supportive relationships with external and internal customers, and to provide them with excellent service. Actively to learn from customer feedback, comments and suggestions, including complaints, to review and improve existing processes, and by doing so to anticipate other customers needs.
