About the Course/Learning Objectives The goal of this course is to provide practicing physicians, residents, fellows, and nurses in medical oncology, otolaryngology, radiation oncology, and head and neck surgery with a contemporary update of management strategies of head and neck cancer using a multidisciplinary approach. Lecture and panels will provide a forum for discussion of updated therapies and new treatment innovations. As a result of attending this conference, the participant should be able to: Highlight the importance and necessity of the multidisciplinary approach in treatment of head and neck cancer. Discuss the current role of immunotherapy in head and neck cancer. Update his/her knowledge regarding modern surgical techniques including transoral robotic surgery approach. Discuss state-of-the-art IMRT, IGRT, and adaptive radiation therapy planning. Identify appropriate patient selection for chemoradiation in definitive and adjuvant settings. Discuss the predictive and prognostic information of detecting HPV-associated cancer. Manage appropriate referral decisions. Accreditation The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Participants claiming CME credit from this activity may submit the credit hours to the American Osteopathic Association Council on Continuing Medical Education for Category 2 credit.
