Shipbuilding traditions Assens Shipyard Ltd. represents a longstanding shipbuilding tradition. Here we build, convert, refit and service vessels using the best shipbuilding traditions in Denmark. We provide personal service with a Funen smile which is also the basis of our working relationship. The quality is evident in our finished works. We document everything we do. We document all tasks for the customer using detailed photographic material. 2
Working force We are capable of performing a wide range of tasks as the shipyard employs skilled professionals in every relevant trade. Engine room All types of engine and machine work are handled at the shipyard. The shipyard also works together with a number of external suppliers and requires them to deliver top quality. Special assignments are performed on site by skilled employees. The hallmark of our work is quality-minded, environmentally aware diligence. We strive to optimise our functions and methods in our daily work. Our employees take pride in a job well done. 4
New buildings - ferries The shipyard frequently delivers various types of newbuildings. The tasks may involve special requirements for extreme environments. Newbuildings at Dock 2. Here, we can completely or partly cover the building project and heat the facility up to 20ºC. All trade groups and types of craft work at the shipyard. This enables us to handle every assignment. Our newbuildings include superyachts, tug boats, contractor platforms, fishing trawlers, pilot boats and ferries. 5
New buildings - special task ships The shipyard built various types of special vessels. Expedition and specially constructed technical service ships to work under extreme conditions. Our external suppliers are capable of providing maximum quality. Meticulous efforts are made by all our employees assuring high quality at all times Special technical equipment thouroghly tested and carefully installed. 6
Yard service and maintenance The yard provides full service and maintenance works for many types of vessels. The covering and heating of Dock 2 provides for extra fine conditions for repair and service works. Vessels of all types are regularly serviced at our yard. All production processes are performed according to the classifications of Lloyd s and DNV. Marine vessels specifies extremely high levels of service and maintenance. 7
New Buildings - Super Yachts Our projects in recent years have ranged from serveral superyachts, ferries, fishing trawlers, marine vessels, special service vessels, tug boats and contractor platforms. It is possible to deliver extreme quality for all types of equipment - when requested. 8 When the customer stipulates the maximum quality and pays our price - we deliver!
Conversions of all types of ships We perform all types of structural changes and refits - broader, longer, higher more powerfull, sound proofing etc. We disassemble, refit and rebuild with regard to good construction principles. The yard provide solutions to conversion of constructions. 9
Environmental considerations The shipyard s operations are organised to comply with official environmental requirements, for small and large-scale tasks alike. Our efforts involve both the internal working environment and the natural surrounding environment. 10 We assess materials before purchase and implement environmental measures that benefit our employees and our customers
Capacity Dock 1: 80 x 15 m, 1350 t draught 6,5 m Dock 2: 80 x 14 m, 1200 t draught 6,5 m Mobile cranes and a number of platforms and mooring boats are available for ongoing tasks. Facilities are certified according to environmental standards and ISPS. Dock 2 with the new enlarged covering and heating system is adaptable to quite large vessels. Complete or partly covering the building project and heating facility up to 20º C Heat consumption is subject to ongoing control. Quays up to 120 metres long and 7 metres depth. Reliable supply of landbased electricity and safe workplace access. 11
Electrical works The shipyard has been fitting all types of ships with complete electrical installations for many years. All functions and works are documented. 12 The work is coordinated and well executed on the bridge and below
