The Menlo Park Hotel is an approved venue and we have hosted numerous civil ceremonies and blessings. We understand how important your wedding is and we are with you throughout to make your wedding very special for you. We can cater from 10-200 guests for a ceremony in a choice of private rooms. All ceremonies are catered to your requirements and your own ideas, and include traditional red carpet aisle, altar and chair covers. Whichever room you choose we will ensure there is a magical feeling using our mood lighting, candelabras and lanterns. Humanist weddings are also available at the Menlo Park Hotel and can be held both indoors or out in the open if desired. The ceremony can be held any day of the week and at any time you would like. Please note: At present Humanist weddings do not carry legal status in Ireland and couples should make their own arrangements in this regard i.e. a Civil Ceremony before or after the Humanist Ceremony. 14 P a g e

Once you have chosen a date we will provisionally hold the booking for 14 days without obligation. After the 14 day period has passed the room will be released unless you confirm to the contrary. To secure the date after this time we require a deposit of 1,000.00, which is credited to your final account. A contract is then issued by the hotel before the actual wedding date. Upon confirmation of your wedding we will send you a voucher for you to have your prewedding tasting dinner at a date that suits you. Additional family and friends are welcome to join you at a discounted rate for you pre-wedding tasting. The hotel has the right to cancel a wedding where it has reason to believe it may prejudice the reputation of the hotel through inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour. The hotel retains the right to cancel any wedding or event that is booked under false pretences or through third parties. Should a confirmed booking with deposit subsequently cancel, the deposit will be refunded only if that date is re-sold to a similar type function or if another date is booked instead. The account must be settled on departure. We are unable to give credit under any circumstances. The final menus should be confirmed 14 days in advance and the final numbers should be advised to the hotel 72 hours in advance - this number will be used for billing purposes. Where numbers increase on the day without notice every effort will be made to accommodate those guests. The greater number will then be used for billing purposes. No Food (other than the wedding cake) or beverages of any kind will be permitted to be taken into the hotel by the patron or guests. This is in keeping with food hygiene laws. Music should stop at 2.00am sharp and the management reserves the right to advise on the music being too loud. Residents Bar is opened until 4am. It is at the discretion of the Manager on Duty to have the bar remain open later than this. As part of the Wedding Package there is a special reduced Accommodation Rate, this applies to the first 10 rooms booked. Ten Booking Forms will be issued to you upon payment of your deposit. On occasion some discount websites may show rooms available at a cheaper rate than our wedding rate your guests are welcome to book at these rates but we are unable to offer them directly to you. Table plans must be submitted to the hotel via e-mail as a word document attachment no later than 72 hours prior to the wedding date. 15 P a g e
