Spotlight 4 Board of Directors 5 Holiday Recipe Exchange Aside from family-time, the best part of the holiday season is FOOD! We thought it might be fun to do a Holiday Recipe Exchange this year. We would like to invite you all to email your favorite holiday recipe to Raven Davis, rdavis@kkbcpa.com, by November 16, 2014. Please send all recipes in pdf or word format. Raven will combine all the submitted recipes into an electronic cookbook and email it out to everyone. We look forward to your entries! Scholarship News We are pleased to announce that AWSCPA Los Angeles Affiliate will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to an accounting student at Cal State University Los Angeles in November 2014. It is AWSCPA Los Angeles Affiliate s great pleasure to award scholarships to local accounting students who have worked hard to maintain high GPAs. If you or someone you know is interested in donating money to AWSCPA Los Angeles Affiliate s scholarship fund, please make a check payable to: AWSCPA Foundation. The donation payments should clearly note "AWSCPA-LA Scholarship Fund" when they come in by mail, email, fax or phone. AWSCPA Los Angeles recently attended the Meet the Firms event for both Cal State University, Northridge and Cal State University, Los Angeles. We met many amazing accounting students and got some great exposure for AWSCPA Los Angeles Affiliate. I look forward to sharing your story!
