The last few weeks have been quite busy with a great deal of fun and exciting school events. Since beginning my career in education, I have always enjoyed these last few months as we bear witness to the culmination of so many of the activities that the students have invested so much of their time and energy. It is in these months that we celebrate their many successes. We cannot thank you all enough for the kind words and sense of family that has helped everyone to persevere and get to where we are today. I look forward to these next few weeks as the faculty and staff guide students as they continue to work hard in their studies, and we as a school community take every opportunity to continue to foster the memories that will last a lifetime. Anti-Bullying Walk 2013 P A G E 8 Thank you to Stop & Shop for supporting Gorton s 3rd annual Walk Against Bullying. It was as usual, a great experience, but especially since Representative Frank Ferri was able to join us this year. Over 400 students and teachers participated. We were all behaved like mature students. It makes us feel good to do something for such a great cause and have our school come together like that because it does show what a great community we are. We had another successful year of Gorton s Anti-Bullying Walk. Victoria G. & Daria M.
