Qualified Staff Two recognised qualifications for teachers running school ski trips: SCO - Ski Course Organisers award ASCL - Alpine Ski Course Leader award We have the SCO qualification. 3 of us also have the ASCL qualification.
Tour Company: ABTA bonded School Travel Forum member (annually verified H&S standards) Highly recommended by many schools Know the resort very well - only operate in one resort. English speaking staff/instructors Very efficient Ski 2 has been nominated in the Best Specialist Tour Operator category in the World Snow Awards three times (In 2014 they received a Highly Commended award).

Travel Details Assemble/Depart: 11.15/11.30 Sat 13 February Pupils will phone home on arrival in the resort (Sun/Mon evening). Return: Approximately 09.30 Sat 20 February Pupils will phone home on the return journey to confirm. Prompt collection please! (These details are on the itinerary letter you have picked up tonight)
Other things to pack: Shoes that grip! Travel adaptor plug(s) 1 pair of ski socks in hand luggage One bag + one piece of hand luggage. You must be able to carry it!!

Ski Helmets? It is an ESCC requirement that all pupils wear a ski helmet. No helmet = no skiing!
Insurance See policy document for full details. 65 excess charge on claims. EHIC may avoid excess charge. If unable to travel get doctor s note. Essential that you are in school on Friday 12th February!
Money Needed for: Evening entertainment, drinks, snacks, presents...?? 50-70 should be more than sufficient Euro notes recommended. NOT travellers cheques. Post Office - no commission Pre-loaded bank cards (PO Travel Money, Caxton) - safer than cash.
It s a school trip! We only take those pupils we can trust. Key Rules: No alcohol or tobacco Don t leave hotel without staff permission Don t leave rooms after lights out Onesies only in bedrooms (not coach or hotel!) No free-skiing - only with instructor or staff Always follow instructions - ask if you re not sure! No bum sliding /tobogganing Don t be a pain!
Paper Work Hand in tonight or ASAP: Pupil information form (4 pages) - Contact + Medical details, Analgesic details + Consent form - See Mrs Swatton or Mrs Harley about any medical concerns Passports. EHIC (European Health Insurance Card). Analgesics - with your name on box/packet.
Final Details/Itinerary Issued this evening Includes an emergency contact number. Please sign and return the reply slip immediately.
