2 Travel Arrangements For guests flying, please leave plenty of time to check in before your departure, please make sure that your passport is valid and you are travelling with any necessary visas. For guests driving to Megève, click here for directions. If you have not already done so please let us know your estimated arrival time by ing Arrival, On your arrival at Geneva Airport you will be met by a Ski Royale representative. When you come through into arrivals walk towards the Information centre which is directly in front of you, your driver will be waiting just to the right of the Information desk holding a Ski Royale sign. If you cannot locate the driver don t panic. Please wait just in front of the Information desk and call Adam on or Michelle on Your Transfer from Geneva to Megève takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

3 Ski Passes We are able to pre-order your ski passes in advance so that they are ready for you on your arrival. We will only pre-order the passes if we have been asked to do so, drop us an to let us know what you need. We will be collecting money for the ski passes on your first evening so please bring cash in euros with you. Please note that we will only pre-order the passes if payment is made to us in cash (the reason is that we pay cash for the passes and if we are not paid in cash it effects our cash flow). If you would prefer to buy your own passes or if you would like to pay by credit card then you can do so at the lift pass office in resort. Ski Pass prices: Adult 6 day pass, 225 euros. Adult 4 day pass, 159 euros. Adult 3 day pass, 125 euros. Children aged 4 and under ski for free. There is a reduction on passes if you aged over 65 and a 10% reduction on passes if you are a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). We do not charge the 2 euros for the cost of the card. We ask that you leave the passes with us so that we can re-use them.

4 Ski Hire We recommend Champfort Sports who offer a discount to our guests and are located a few minutes walk from the chalet, we can arrange ski hire once you arrive in resort or if you would prefer to reserve your equipment on-line (advisable during peak periods) please visit For guests hiring in resort Valentine offers a 35% discount for most weeks during the season and a 50% discount at the end of the season. 5 Ski lessons We recommend the following Ski Schools. French ski school (ESF) Private lessons from 45 euros per hour for 1 2 people, International ski school (ESI) Private lessons from 47 euros per hour for 1 2 people, British ski school Private lessons 160 for a 2 hour lesson for up to six. Ski Hosting Is available to all guests that can confidently ski blue runs and above. Guiding is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from around to There has been a lot of controversy with ski guiding, we will continue to show you around the resort but have to be very careful that we are not seen to be leading a group, instead we will be skiing with friends.

6 Meals, Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.00am, afternoon tea at around 4.30pm, canapés at 7.30 and your evening meal at 8.00pm. Dietary Requirements - If you have any special requirements or food allergies which were not advised on the booking form, please notify us before your arrival. Our Staff s day off Is a Friday, breakfast and afternoon tea will be laid out for you and in the evening you will have the chance to sample one of Megeve s excellent restaurants. Games, TV, DVD s, Music We have a large selection of games and DVD s in the chalet as well as an IPOD docking station, a Wii Console and Apple TV. If you are travelling with young children with favourite games or DVD s please feel free to bring them along. Travelling with children - We provide a cot, high chair, an all terrain buggy and sledges free of charge. Megeve Is a small friendly resort with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, a casino, an indoor and outdoor iceskating rink and a sports centre with a gym, sauna, swimming pool and Spa. Insurance, We recommend Fogg Travel Royale strongly advise that all party leaders check that all members of their group are insured. Towels and hair dryers are provided in all bedrooms. Coffee & Tea facilities are available at any time during the day.
