Safety Global Edventure Travel makes safety a priority when conducting a trip to any of our destinations. Global Edventures carry out a full risk assessment of a destination, its accommodations, transport, activities, eateries, sights to be visited, plus any other aspect that may be considered an issue of safety for a trip. The school will make a pre-trip inspection visit prior to the trip and complete their own risk assessment. GET follow British Standards 8848/2014 for adventurous activities outside the United Kingdom. We endeavour to follow these standards on all of our trips to ensure all risks are managed in a safe manner. It is important for all parents and the children to understand that the children will be participating in activities in an unfamiliar environment. Taking children outside their comfort zone is one of the aims of the trip to provide a challenging and rewarding experience and to heighten and develop personal confidence in a variety of new activities and visits.
Our learning GET has tailored the activities so that they match our learning and are directly linked to the new curriculum in Year 5.
