The World of Digital, Interdisciplinary and Emotional Dentistry Speakers Guest Speaker Livio Yoshinaga Paulo Kano OCTOBER 9 11, 2015 NEW YORK MARRIOTT MARQUIS NEW YORK, NEW YORK DECEMBER 11 13, 2015 RENAISSANCE LAS VEGAS HOTEL LAS VEGAS, NEVADA ADVANCE PROGRAM www.quintpub.com/dsd

BACKGROUND INFO The Digital Smile Design World Tour 2015 is an extraordinary three-day event of lectures, live patient demonstrations, and hands-on workshops with Drs and Paulo Kano and Mr Livio Yoshinaga. Digital Smile Design (DSD) is a conceptual protocol for clinicians that strengthens their skill in performing extraoral and intraoral esthetic diagnosis and structural evaluation. It gives clinicians the tools and language they need to communicate more effectively with the other members of the treatment team. DSD also allows clinicians to educate and motivate their patients, enhance their patients visual perception, and ultimately increase case acceptance. At the DSD World Tour event, featured speakers will present a full demonstration of the DSD protocol and workflow on a live patient, who will be treated on a stage equipped with a clinical operatory (which includes a dental chair, a dental laboratory, and a patient presentation/discussion room) and a professional studio. Once the final treatment plan is designed, it will be carried out on several different platforms (ie, CAD/CAM, 3D orthodontics, and 3D surgical planning systems) using DSD Connect, a software program that bridges the project to any other software. Join us for this unique educational opportunity! LEARNING OBJECTIVES This three-day event is composed of lectures, live patient demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. The main objectives of this symposium are to show clinicians and their teams how to: Become better smile designers, because smile design is the primary principle of any modern treatment plan. Implement a realistic team communication protocol, because communication is the key to genuine functional interdisciplinary dentistry. Interact with patients to enhance the value of their treatment and increase case acceptance through the new concept of emotional dentistry. Link the beautiful smile design process to the actual treatment using a simple and effective digital workflow that connects the 2D drawings of DSD to 3D software systems (ie, CAD/CAM, 3D orthodontics, and guided surgery). All of these concepts will be demonstrated on actual patients, live on stage, showing all the steps that can transform a normal dental office into a modern, genuinely interdisciplinary esthetic dental clinic. In order to fully benefit from the scheduled hands-on workshops of the symposium experience, attendees will need the following: Apple Macintosh l aptop computer with the Keynote 6.5 software, or PC laptop with PowerPoint 2013 software * Mouse for PC (optional for Macintosh) *The hands-on demonstration will not be carried out using PowerPoint for Macintosh.
