Restaurant Evenings spent at the Palace are a delicious combination of elegant indulgence, good company and a real sense of occasion. Crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins together with polished silver set the scene for a sophisticated and memorable dinner. Using ingredients from the South Hams and the fishing port of Brixham, the daily changing menus resonate with freshness. Locally caught sea bass, lemon sole, scallops and lobster feature alongside fresh meat, game, fruit and vegetables. For those who can indulge, the sweet trolley is amazing. Devonshire clotted or double cream is an optional extra!

The Grounds The Palace is a place for all seasons. As Spring sweeps in on a white tide of magnolia blossom, the twenty-five acres of private grounds begin to erupt into colour. Summer days spent around the heated outdoor pool, or in a friendly battle on the 9-hole golf course, are hard to beat. The Italian rose garden, long cool drinks on the sun-soaked terrace and gentle walks down to nearby Anstey s Cove all contribute to the oasis of calm and tranquillity.
Leisure There is plenty on-site to occupy even the most active. The 25 acres boast a 9-hole, par 3, short championship golf course; putting green; heated swimming pool; croquet lawn and four all weather tennis courts. The grounds themselves provide the perfect backdrop for a pleasant, invigorating walk. Indoors, guests are invited to make full use of the snooker room, saunas, fitness suite, heated swimming pool, squash and tennis courts. Tuition from our own on-site LTA qualified coach can be booked with a little prior notice.

Dartmoor is within easy reach as is the lush South Devon countryside, whilst picturesque towns like Sidmouth and Dartmouth provide lovely days out.
