2 Welcome to Trethem Mill... NATIONAL WINNER Caravan Park of the Year 2010 enjoyengland Awards for Excellence The Roseland Peninsula is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Trethem Mill lies inland, about 3 miles from the quaint fishing villages of St Mawes and Portscatho, yet only a mile from the sea. Nestling in a valley, surrounded by farmland, we offer a peaceful and rural retreat. The Park is owned and run by three generations of our family and is suitable for couples and families who are seeking peace and quiet. We may not suit those who enjoy a bar or entertainment. The Park extends to cover 11.5 acres, about half of which provides our dog and nature walk, and also our recreation area. The remaining acreage is level and gently sloping grass which is suitable for all types of caravans, motorhomes and tents. All of our spacious pitches are supplied with 16-amp electric hook-up and are individually hedged or in bays of two. We also have many all-weather and Premium pitches. With our on-going developments our aim is to continue with enhancing the Park and adding to the enjoyment of our guests, both existing and new. 4 Let us share our secret with you... Whether you like to exercise your dog, or just enjoy a short stroll, our dog and nature meadow is perfect. Meandering paths lead through wooded areas and open spaces left to natural fallow with a number of wildlife habitats and bird boxes. Experience a wide variety of changing fauna and flora, wildlife and birds. Our landscaped gardens are ablaze with colour throughout the season, especially during the summer months, and attract a wide array of butterflies, moths and insects. Some of our plants and bushes are unique to Cornwall and will only grow in the sub-tropical climate you can enjoy on the south coast. For your convenience all of our facilities can be found in the centrally located amenities buildings. These are served with a constant supply of hot water, and are maintained and cleaned to an exceptionally high standard. Our small, licensed Park shop has a range of essential groceries and camping equipment. Parents can relax knowing that their children can play safely in our enclosed play park which is situated away from the main entrance. We have a large adjoining recreation field, complete with goal posts and nets for the more adventurous games!

6 So much to see, so much to do... The Peninsula is a boating haven with river, sea and numerous creeks to explore. Choose from 6 nearby slipways, with the local boatyard being within walking distance. Our calm and sheltered waters are perfect for enjoying sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing and canoeing. Some of our best coves are only accessible by boat! St Just-in-Roseland church is located by the water s edge and is within easy walking distance of the Park. It has been described by many as the most beautiful church in England. Other must-sees are the castle at St Mawes, the roundhouses at Veryan and St Anthony s Head and lighthouse. Our quiet, sandy beaches and coves offer safe bathing and shelter. The coastline provides many opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching and fishing. The warmer southern climate encourages the growth of many exotic plants and wild flowers. You can also discover intriguing craft shops and local art galleries. The cathedral city of Truro is a short drive away with its modern and antique shops. Trethem Mill is ideally located for touring the County of Cornwall. Within an hour s travel you can reach all the main attractions, including the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Maritime Museum. Cross the River Fal to visit the National Trust garden of Trelissick or Trebah. Make your journey unique by using the King Harry chain link ferry, established in 1888! From Tregony follow the A3078 to St Mawes. Approx. 2 miles after passing through Trewithian look for our brown caravan and camping sign. Turn right off the main road and we are 500 yards up the lane.
