WELCOME TO THE NEWSEUM A Letter From Our CEO There are many reasons to connect your company to the Newseum. We offer our partners dynamic exhibits and engaging programs that bring global thought leaders together for important conversations. By partnering with the Newseum, you will help support our work to educate millions of people about the importance of America s fundamental freedoms and the value of another precious human right the right to free expression. We also help young people become better informed consumers of media, and remind visitors how essential a free and fair press is to our democracy. Our visitors have fun while they are learning, which is one of the reasons our corporate partners tell us they find great value in supporting our work. Consider this comment on TripAdvisor from a recent visitor: World class, powerful & necessary. I ve traveled six continents and this is one of the most spectacular museums I ve ever visited. The experience was moving, emotional, spiritual and enlightening. Belonging to the corporate community at the Newseum provides valuable benefits: access to the museum and its programs, the chance to market to national and international audiences, invitations to exclusive events and behind-the-scenes tours, and opportunities to host your own events at a premier Washington venue with some of the best views in the city. Members of the Corporate Engagement Program are among our strongest stakeholders. Their annual support helps ensure that we maintain our standards of excellence for exhibits and programs, and gives us the flexibility to embrace new ideas and emerging opportunities. Thank you for your interest in helping with this unique and important mission to champion the fundamental freedoms of the First Amendment. Five Freedoms of the First Amendment Freedom of religion Freedom of speech Freedom of the press Freedom of assembly Freedom to petition Sincerely, Peter S. Prichard, Chairman and CEO Peter Prichard

LEARNING AT THE NEWSEUM Support for the Newseum is support for students. Much of the great work at the Newseum happens off the museum floor in our education department. Your corporation can aid the Newseum in its efforts to help students develop critical-thinking skills and become better-informed citizens in the digital age. Since 2008: The Newseum has hosted more than 700,000 school group visitors. 200,000 students have taken national standards linked, educator-led classes in our Learning Center. Nearly 4,500 teachers attended one of 165 Professional Development Workshops. Our Digital Classroom connects students with primary sources from our collection and provides teachers with lesson plans that meet Common Core standards. It has 17,000 users and continues to grow. Our support of the Newseum allows us to empower educators in the communities where our team members live and work. Anna Bard, senior vice president, community affairs manager, Wells Fargo
