Access "cloudstation.pogoplug.com" from your smartphone or computer web browser and tap (or click) "Set Up Your CloudStation". Connect the CloudStation to your wireless LAN access point or router.
Connect the AC adapter to the CloudStation, plug the adapter into a power outlet, then turn the CloudStation's ON switch to switch on the power. Once blue POWER LED on front of the CloudStation stops flashing and remains lit, tap (or click) "Next." The CloudStation automatically confirms the connection to the Internet. If the INFO/ERROR LED is off, tap (or click) "Next." The CloudStation automatically searches for devices on the network.
Using 3G network or CloudStation was not found If you are using your smartphone's 3G network to set up, or if the CloudStation cannot perform the search automatically, a screen will appear as indicates. Then enter your CloudStation's ID number (found on the bottom of the CloudStation), then tap (or click) "Next." Enter your email address and the password you intend to use to login. Then place check mark to indicate you agree with the terms and conditions, then tap (or click) "Finish." * Your password is required each time you log in with a device. Be sure to write it down on a piece of paper or otherwise record it separately for safekeeping. A verification email will be sent to the address you entered. Tap (or click) the link shown in the email. Now your CloudStation setup is done! * If your email client is set not to display HTML email, the email sent will have the same content, but in plain text format. The web browser will launch and display the CloudStation web page. If you are using a
computer, you can upload files from this point. Install the "Pogoplug" application on your smartphone or tablet for easy and convenient access! After the installation is completed, tap the "Pogoplug" application. Enter the email address and password you registered in setting up the CloudStation, then tap the "Sign in" button. Now you can access your CloudStation. Just tap the icon for the video, music, or other content you want to enjoy. * You can save (upload) photos or videos to the CloudStation by accessing the targeted folder from My Drives.

Download the Pogoplug software to your computer from the download page. (Coming up soon.) Open the downloaded file and begin the setup.click "Next." Read the License Agreement and place a check in the check box for "I accept the terms of this License Agreement, then click "Next."
Confirm the folder in which the Pogoplug software is to be installed, then click "Next." This completes preparations for installation. Click "Install." If the "User Account Control" screen appears, click "Yes." Installation complete. Click "Finish."
The software will launch. Enter the email address and password you registered in setting up the CloudStation, then click the "Sign in." The software allows you to set automatically copy (Active Copy) the photos and music in your "My Pictures" and other folders on your computer to the CloudStation. If this is what you wish, place a check mark by the folders you want to copy, then click "OK." If you do not want to use Active Copy, click "Skip this step." * You can set this after the initial setup as well. When the setup is done, you can see the list of folders that were selected to be copied automatically. This completes installation of the software. Click the ""x" button to close the window. You can check to confirm the addition of the new drive by clicking "Computer (My Computer)" from the Windows Start menu. You can access files and drag-and-drop to save content, just as you would do with a regular external HDD or USB memory.
