General Information Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits - Category 1 The New York State Society of Physician Assistants utilizes the ACCME standards for programs of the AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants) in order to provide CME to participants. NYSSPA takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of the CME Activity. This program is not yet approved for CME Credit. NYSSPA plans to request at least 30 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Total number of approved credits is yet to be determined. Each PA should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
