2 The Texas Association for Bariatric Surgery is an exciting and educational event that brings together patients and professionals from around the state who have an interest in weight loss surgery. There will be dietitians, exercise personnel, behavioral health specialists, bariatric surgeons, and plastic surgeons presenting topics that are important for creating long-term success after weight loss surgery. 3 Hotel Reservations A block of rooms have been set aside at the Doubletree Hotel Dallas Market Center for TABS attendees at a reduced rate. To ensure you receive the group rate of $109 single/double occupancy, plus tax, your reservations must be made before Thursday, December 30, Reservations received after this date will be accepted based on availability. From Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport the drive time is approximately 20 minutes; distance from the hotel is 15 miles.
