Introduction Oil & Gas Talent Management Workshop is a 2-day programme designed to enhance the expertise of HR/talent professionals on how best to attract, retain and enable their talent for optimal performance and productivity. The programme focuses on leading trends in talent management covering recruitment, assessment, retention, engagement, culture and leadership. It also showcases how these frameworks align to global models, with case studies from leading oil & gas organisations like BP, GE and Schlumberger. Day one will highlight insights in strategic talent acquisition with focus on employer branding, talent sourcing, talent assessment, behavioural based interviewing, psychometric and competency frameworks and hiring for fit. Participants will learn how to improve their overall candidate recruitment strategy for improved quality of hire, performance and talent retention. Day two will explore talent management tools and systems, and strategies for better employee engagement, retention, motivation and recognition. This will incorporate ideas on talent identification and leadership pipeline. Participants will learn how to engage, enable and empower talent through coaching, mentoring, communication, innovation and cultural change. This course has been designed for HR professionals responsible for talent strategy and leaders who manage teams/people within their organisation.

Facilitator Vic Okezie Director, OGHR British BSc. Industry Chemistry; MSc. Management Vic Okezie is Director at OGHR, where he delivers training and solutions to the global oil & gas industry. He is also a facilitator at HR industry events and has produced the OGHR Summits in Abu Dhabi, London, Houston and Dubai. He has 12 years of International talent and recruitment experience. He specialises in executive recruitment across the entire oil & gas value chain with a focus on the UK, West Africa and the Middle East. He has also delivered talent management projects for organisations within EMEA. Previously, Vic was engaged as a consultant for Shell (Nigeria & Gabon), supporting their expatriate resourcing strategy/framework and the design and implementation of their recruitment and succession planning model. In the past, he worked as the Regional Talent Advisor for Chevron Europe, based in Le Havre and Paris and responsible for graduate recruitment and emerging talent development. Prior to this, he was Recruitment Manager with IAESTE and a Graduate summer intern/trainee at Statoil Norway. Vic studied Industrial Chemistry at the University of Lagos and holds an MSc in Management from the Royal Holloway, University of London, UK.

General Booking Terms When you complete and submit the course booking form, you are making us an offer to attend one or more training courses on the terms and conditions stated below. You can expect to receive a reply from us accepting your booking within 2 working days. When we confirm your booking, we are accepting your offer on these same terms and conditions. When we accept your offer, we have concluded with you a legally binding agreement subject to English Law. Training Course Fees & Payment Upon acceptance of your booking, we will send you an invoice by Email. The invoice we send you is due for immediate payment. Payment is accepted in the form of electronic bank transfer - our full bank details are stated on the invoice. Any bank charges incurred in connection with payment in sterling must be added to payments. Fees include your attendance at the relevant training course/s and the provision of a comprehensive training course manual plus lunch and refreshments during the training day. Fees do not include accommodation and living costs. We reserve the right to deny admission to a course to any person who has not fully paid their course fee in advance of the course start date. In the event that a class becomes full or over-subscribed, priority will be given to bookings which are fully paid in advance of the course start date. Note: where applicable due to government regulations Value Added Tax (VAT) will be applied to the total course fee. Cancellations, Refunds, Transfers and Substitutions Policy If you are required to cancel a booking, the full course fee will be refunded providing that cancellation is notified a minimum of 30 days before course commencement. Cancellations notified less than 30 days before course commencement will be eligible for a 50% refund. In cases were no cancellation is notified and participant is not in attendance at course commencement, no refund will be available. In the event that you need to cancel a registration, we will offer you the opportunity to transfer the booking to an alternative course. Transfers of this nature can only be made once. Additional fees may apply depending on the specific circumstances/details of the transfer arrangement. In addition, our standard course transfer administration fee of 250 (& VAT if applicable) will apply, however, this fee will not be applied if notice is provided at least 30 days before course commencement. Substitutions for any individuals registered can be made without charge but please ensure you notify us promptly. In the event that OGHR Limited is unable for any reason to hold a course for which you have paid you shall be informed no later than 14 days prior to the start date of the course. In such an event, OGHR Limited shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect costs incurred by those registered to attend. In such an event you shall be offered a full refund of any course fees paid to OGHR Limited.
