5 Tony Andony Consultant profile Tony Andony, a former Human Resources Executive, has worked with major engineering, construction, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and agribusiness companies that had divisions and entities in Australia and across the globe. A key responsibility of these roles was the recruitment and relocation of professional, technical, commercial and scientific people. Tony established TONY ANDONY AUSTRALIA Recruitment and Search in 1997 and now has the unique experience of having recruited persons for positions in all levels up to CEO in small, medium and large companies; across all industry sectors; both within Australia and overseas. An expat assignment or posting is a very important appointment that is a significant investment by the client and commitment by the candidate. It must be done without compromise. The process of placing Expats successfully is quite different when compared to regular recruitment assignments. We consult with clients and add value to recruitment assignments by analysing positions, composition of teams and the strategic requirements of their business. Each assignment is unique and the process is tailored to ensure that the best possible recruitment solution is delivered. This is our comprehensive process for a combined advertised and search assignment: Define Client Needs We closely collaborate with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business. We focus on their strategies and objectives; organisation structure and teams; their products/services and customers; company culture and spirit; and profile in the marketplace. Develop Position Description Based on information and discussions with the client we define the position and the necessary personal qualities, qualifications, professional skills and experience level required. Draft and Place Advertisement Draft, gain approval and place advertisements in mutually agreed newspapers and internet sites. Commence search in conjunction with the advertising process. Field telephone enquiries and receive candidate response. Initial Screening Preliminary assessment of candidate response into: 1. Potential interview 2. Marginal 3. Unsuitable 9 P R O F I L E
10 Correspondence to candidates appropriate to this phase. Continuous communication with client as the assignment progresses ensuring their involvement, direction and approvals. In Depth Assessment & Evaluation of Candidates In depth assessment of response. Face to face interviews with those identified for preliminary interview. Selection of a shortlist and further interviews. Correspondence to candidates appropriate to this phase. Present Short-listed Candidates Provision of reports to clients on short-listed candidates detailing their qualifications, experience, competencies, motivation, career aspirations and expectation of remuneration package. Present shortlist to client and brief them on the candidates differing qualities. Arrange client interviews with the short-listed candidates. Participate in such interviews if you would like us to. Selection and Debriefing Debrief with you on your assessment of candidates and their feedback after interviews. Reference Checks Reference check the selected candidate. Arrange Psychometric Assessment and Pre-Employment Medical Examinations (at your discretion). Offer of Position & Negotiations Involvement in the offer of the position and negotiations. Correspondence to candidates. Follow Up Follow up with you and the appointed person to ensure that both parties are satisfied with the placement. Our commitment to you the guarantee We guarantee all Recruitment and Search appointments for three months from the date of commencement. For senior positions, at the client s request, we will extend this guarantee period to 6 months. If you are not satisfied with the placement and terminate their services, provided that we are notified within the guarantee period, we will source a replacement candidate for that position. We will not charge additional fees, provided all fees have been paid within 14 days of invoice date. Advertising and expenses are not included in this replacement guarantee.
