Authenticatin is dne using transpnder cards, cmbinatin lck systems and additinal bimetric palm scanner (depending n the security level f the rm). Each rack is additinally secured with a cmbinatin lck and cylinder lck. 1.3 Surveillance The clcatin centre is mnitred 24 hurs a day via a CCTV system; each access and every dr pening is recrded. Likewise, nging mnitring f air cnditiners, backup pwer supply systems and the netwrk. An NOC (Netwrk Operating Centre) staffed 24 hurs a day facilitates immediate respnse t events f the mnitring system. Mnitring f the netwrk is dne frm different lcatins t identify carrier-dependent errrs at an early stage. 1.4 Cling The server rms are equipped with redundant air cnditining systems (N+1, pwer: 3080 KW). The cld air is pumped via apprpriate air inlets t each rack frm belw. In additin, the interirs f the clcatin centre is air-cnditined. 1.5 Pwer Supply Redundant pwer supply with UPS backup. In this case, supply f bth alternating as well as direct current is pssible. Our server systems can be cnnected t several, separate circuits, s as t increase the system availability. 2 Our Services We perate audimex in a prfessinal clcatin centre envirnment. In particular, we ffer the fllwing services as part f the standard hsting: 2.1 audimex-specific Prvisin and maintenance f hardware suitable fr yur audimex system. Prvisin f the perating envirnment suitable fr yur audimex system (perating system, database, applicatin server, etc.), including the required licences. Installatin and cnfiguratin f the perating envirnment (perating system, database, applicatin server, etc.) Installing and cnfiguring the audimex sftware Installatin f patches and fixes fr perating envirnment and audimex Installing audimex update versins, but nt fine-tuning the custmised adaptatins t these updated versins. Active mnitring and administratin f the system: The system is regularly checked fr ccurred errrs and adjusted accrdingly. 2.2 Technlgy Cnnecting yur audimex installatin via a 100 Mbit/s uplink SSL secured access t the server, prvisin f the required SSL server certificates. The Internet cnnectin is via several Internet service prviders; the best cnnectin is autmatically selected using BGP4 ruting. If ne f the Internet service prvider fails, the system autmatically switches t ther prviders. RZ perates a separate AS (Autnmus System) using Juniper ruters fr these highly secure cnfiguratins. Pwer supply and air cnditining are designed redundant. Access is via a bimetric access cntrl system. Daily backup t the backup server. Here, a maximum perid f data lss n a single wrking day is secured Mnitring the backup feature n wrkdays, based n lgs f the backup sftware Back up is dne t a remte lcatin Firewall service Restre in case f fatal errr The system availability is at least 99%. Thus, system failure up t a maximum f fur days per year is acceptable. Access t the system is via the Internet.
