Page 2 PRESIDENT S CORNER What a lovely summer evening at Flights of Wine in Morrison. Sounds of laughter could be heard all evening as we enjoyed our time together. The auction was so much fun and quite lively with Scott Alexander encouraging us to bid just $5 more. We have smiling and fun filled pictures for you to enjoy within our newsletter this month from this event. We had 23 members and guests in attendance who raised $2,378 which is 20% more than last year. Many thanks to all who coordinated the event, donated and attended. We also earned $105 for the Scholarship Trust from the weekly Boot Camp. Getting physically fit and raising money for scholarships at the same time. Kristi Czajkowski is coordinating the peach sales this year with the net proceeds benefiting the scholarship trust. Orders are due to her by August 15th. Please see the peach flyer being sent with this newsletter and order some tasty and juicy Palisade peaches. I hope to see you at our August meeting and please bring a guest! Our best way to grow our membership is by bringing our friends and coworkers. We have an amazing group of ladies who care and help each other in so many ways. Imagine if every member encouraged just one person to join - we could easily double our membership and how exciting that would be!
