Trades Shops/Labs N/A $200.00 OTHER SERVICES Food and Beverage Catering Catering is provided on campus by Chartwell s Impressions Catering (* you may not use any other Catering Services on our facility. (Special Events menu is available upon request). Guaranteed guest count from the client (10) business days prior to event. Food services may be provided with the following options: 1. Pre-ordered from menu and delivered to meeting room. 2. Meal tickets provided with $ limit, i.e. lunch limit of $10.00 (predetermined by client). Food services ordered by client will be included on final invoice. Important: *Northern College s contract with Chartwell s restricts other food service provider s access to our facilities, therefore, all food and beverages must be ordered through Chartwell s. Catering costs will be included on final invoice. Bar Services Quill Lounge (PUB) Gymnasium, Mezzanine, Cafeteria, and Patio are all licensed facilities. *Licensed Patio with fenced in designated smoking area, at an additional cost of $100.00 plus HST which will be included on Invoice. Northern College provides full bar services including liquor license and smart serve trained bartenders. Northern College reserves the right to have no other liquor licenses on our premises for all special events. Weddings may provide their own wine accompanied by a special occasion permit which could be purchased at the LCBO. Bar services will temporarily be closed until all wine has been consumed and removed from tables (cannot have 2 liquor licenses operating at the same time). Security Costs $25.00/hour (after regular building hours) Monday to Thursday Building Security billing begins after 11:00 p.m. Fridays Building Security billing begins after 10:00 pm Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Building Security billing begins after 4:00 p.m. Example: 4:00 pm 1:00 a.m. = 9 hours @ $25.00/hr = $225.00 Northern College will provide one security guard for Building Security. Northern College reserves the right to contract additional event security if deemed necessary for larger scale special events. (ie: Special Events with 400 people = 4 Event Security + 1 Building Security). Northern College s contract with Advanced Security restricts other Security service provider s access to our facilities; therefore, all security must be covered by Advanced Security. Security charges incurred after hours will be included on final invoice. Page 6
Setup, Tear-Down and Cleaning Costs $25.00/hour (minimum of 4 hours x 2 staff for setup and minimum of 6 hours x 2 staff for tear-down and cleaning for any special events after regular building hours, weekends etc ) Example: Setup: 4 hours x 2 staff x $25.00 = $200.00 and 6 hours x 2 staff x $25.00 = $300.00 which is a total of $500.00 (this is based on larger scale special events) **Please be advised that outdoor weddings are available upon request, but will incur more setup, tear-down and cleaning costs for the additional hours and additional staff! Northern College reserves the right to contract additional cleaning if deemed necessary for special events. Northern College s contract with Koprash Inc. (Unicco Cleaning) restricts other cleaning service provider s access to our facilities; therefore, all cleaning must be covered by Unicco Cleaning.
