I further acknowledge that my right to use the Premises is at the discretion of the GRR. I further acknowledge that I have read and will communicate the alcohol policy and the Group Booking Contract (Page 2) to all attendees in my group. 2 Race Night Groups in the Captain s Quarters Group Booking Contract Your group reservation will be considered tentative until we receive a signed copy of this contract. 1) Group must consist of 12 or more adults (age 19+) to receive group benefits and pricing. Children are welcome, but will be billed separately from the group. 2) Group leaders must confirm final group numbers with Bookings Department no later than noon, 5 days in advance of your event. You will be billed for the confirmed amount. It is up to the group leader to fill all confirmed seats. We cannot guarantee seating or meals for additional attendees above the confirmed number, nor can we provide a reduction to your bill for fewer attendees after this date. 3) Space is reserved based on the estimated number of attendees at time of booking. If your estimate changes significantly, please notify the Bookings Department as soon as possible to find out if more space is available. Periodic updates of numbers are required. 4) We reserve the right to pre-arrange your group seating as space permits. Every effort will be made to seat groups in the same section of tables. Special requests must be made as soon as possible. (i.e.: upper level seating due to wheelchair access) Upper level seating is limited. 5) The group meal bill will be given to the group leader based on the pre-confirmed number. Payment is to be submitted to your server that evening as one lump sum, payable by debit card, credit card, or cash only. No cheques will be accepted. All beverages will be billed separately and individually. If you would like beverages to be included on one bill, please indicate by the confirmation date, and let your server know at the start of the evening. All food and beverages are to be paid prior to leaving the Captain s Quarters. 6) If your group will be arriving later than 7 pm, please make prior arrangements to hold your tables. Tables initially held for your group that are not in use may be made available to other patrons at the discretion of Grand River Raceway. 7) A deposit may be required to hold your group reservation at the discretion of Grand River Raceway. As outlined in the Ontario Health and Safety Act, no food or beverages may be brought onto or removed from the premises. Grand River Raceway & Slots Alcohol Policies Ontario Liquor Law prohibits patrons from showing signs of intoxication while in a gaming facility. All employees are Smart Serve trained. Patrons may only consume 1 alcoholic beverage at a time. At the first signs of intoxication, a Food & Beverage or Security Supervisor will approach the patron and ask him/her to leave the premises for a 24-hour period. Any questions regarding these policies may be directed to the Food & Beverage Staff. Your patronage is appreciated, and we strive to ensure that you have a good and safe time with us! If at any point a patron shows signs of intoxication, he or she will be asked to leave the property for a 24-hour period. 6
