We invite you to place an ad in our program book, commit to a sponsorship level, or donate an item/service. A packet with various levels of possible support is enclosed for your review. Your participation will help guarantee our success. In return, you can expect maximum exposure at whichever level you choose. This year we will be celebrating at the elegant. The evening will feature, an upscale seated dinner, and our signature silent and live auctions. The affair brings together corporations, individual donors, community leaders, elected officials, and other guests to raise funds for the people who are touched by Interact s life-changing programs. Proceeds from the event support the many human services offered by Interact for people of all ages, including programs for older adults, residential and therapeutic services for people with intellectual and development disabilities, and treatment and supports for those with behavioral health needs. We know you value Interact s work, and hope we can count on your support. We will follow up with you soon regarding this exciting opportunity. OUR VISION Everyone deserves a fulfilling life. Intercommunity Action, Inc. Interact was formed in 1969 by a small group of community residents who saw the need for behavioral health, mental retardation and other human services to be available in their community. Despite having few resources other than their own skill and determination, they succeeded in obtaining funding to establish the first free-standing community mental health and mental retardation center in. Interact s volunteer Board of Directors has overseen the organization s growth from a staff of 20 who provided mental health intake and counseling services to a comprehensive human services agency, engaging over 200 caring professional and support staff to provide over 20 different types of programs and services to over 5,000 people annually. Interact strives, in all of its programs, to provide the highest possible quality of services, focusing on the strengths, needs and desires of each individual.
