Southeast Regional Institute on Deafness Conference Dear Conference Partner: Southeast Regional Institute on Deafness (SERID), a non-profit organization, is pleased to announce its annual conference to be held at the Myrtle Beach Marriott in Myrtle Beach, SC from October 25-28, 2015. The goal of this conference is to promote and improve collaboration between service providers and communities serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing consumers within the southeast region. Professional and skills development workshops in the areas of advocacy, law, technology, accommodations, rehabilitation, employment, and mental health will be offered. In addition, SERID 2015 will focus heavily on interpreting services for the above mentioned specialty areas. This letter is to request your support of the 2015 SERID conference. VENDOR & EXHIBIT OPPORTUNITIES Why become an exhibitor or vendor? Showcase your products and services to over 400 people directly in your target market! Becoming a vendor or exhibitor is an excellent way to gain that important visibility! All exhibitors will be strategically placed in the pre-conference area to ensure maximum attendee traffic. Each vendor will be listed on the Southeast Regional Institute on Deafness website and in the program book. Limit: 30 Exhibit Space: Each exhibit space will consist of one 6 table with two chairs. Electricity is optional as an add-on feature. Exhibit Operation Hours: Exhibitor Rates: Sunday: 12pm to 11pm Monday 8am to 11pm Tuesday 8am to 3pm Breakdown: Wednesday by noon Exhibitor table without electricity - $125 Exhibitor table with electricity - $180 EXHIBIT AREA RULES & REGULATIONS Location: All exhibitors will be set up and located in the pre-function area to allow for maximum exposure to conference attendees. Setup: The exhibit area will be available on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 12 NOON for Vendor setup. Dismantle: The reserved exhibit space must be completely cleaned and exhibits cleared from the Hotel on Wednesday 10/28/15 by 12 NOON. A $500.00 clean-up fee will be charged if the area is not left in broom clean condition. Due Dates: Exhibitor space is provided on a first-come/first-serve basis, as long as space is available. Space is limited to 30 tables total. Exhibitor registration is refundable if canceled by August 1 st. Company/organization logos must be sent electronically to chair@serid.org before August 1 st for inclusion in the program book. The rental agreement includes: 1. The exhibit facility as programmed includes one table and two chairs 2. General maintenance of aisles, hotel lighting, heating, air conditioning and ventilation The rental agreement does not include: 1. Drayage and placement of display equipment 2. Decoration and related services 3. Guard services 4. Labor (i.e. carpenters, electricians, and drapers) 5. Storage of any exhibit-related materials 6.
