Work with nontraditional tools and learn new painting techniques. Alla Prima Alla Fun! Can t draw a stick figure, not artistic but have always wanted to try painting? No worries. Alla Prima is a style of completing a painting in one session. The words are Italian and mean at once. You will be guided through the artistic process step by step as you create your very own painting. Artist Trading Cards A unique class for artists to explore a variety of mediums. Students create miniature works of art. Kids can exchange the cards they create and become a part of an art movement that began in Switzerland in 1996 and spread throughout the world. Baby Steps An exciting and energetic class for parent-child bonding while students learn basic motor skills through the arts. Leather Pouches & Bracelets Learn to assemble leather pouches and bracelets while learning different techniques such as lacing and stamping.

In this exciting class, design a superhero mask or create a mask from one of the many different countries that use them in their cultural traditions. Medieval Crowns and Tiaras Travel back to medieval times and create a wearable work of art representing the royalty of Kings, Queens, and Princesses. Metal Foil Impressions Make portraits, landscapes, or simple patterns by making impressions into metal. Mommy & Me An art class for the parent and child to enjoy together! Paint, draw, or make crafts together while creating fun memories. Monster Creations Use your imagination and create your own monsters. Beginning Sewing Students learn the basics of sewing through simple patterns to create their own fashions. Both machine and freeform sewing are utilized to create finished garments and crafty projects. Intermediate Sewing The next stitch from sewing basics. Students construct projects with more complex sewing patterns using both machine and free form sewing to create projects. To take this class, students must complete the beginner level or have a consultation with the instructor prior to signing up. Star Wars Create personalized Wookie characters that go beyond the fictional universe of Star Wars. Give your Wookie a mustache, a mermaid tail, or long curly hair. A fun class for creative Star Wars fans. Tie Dye T-Shirts A classically fun project that you can take home and wear. Learn different wrapping methods that give interesting dye patterns. Wheel Throwing Sitting at the potter s wheel and forming a spectacular bowl or vase is fun and rewarding. Students learn to wedge clay and throw on the wheel. Pieces are finished with colorful glazes.

Palette Knife Portraits Learn to loosen paint strokes with a palette knife for an impressionistic style of portraiture. Plaster Arm Sculptures This class uses the human form to inspire sculptures using plaster and mold making techniques. Print Making - Linoleum Carving & Press Learn to use a printer s press and carve linoleum plates for making multiple images with ink. Arts for Everyone is a program specifically designed to help students with special needs. We strive to transform mental and physical challenges into strengths and modes of expression in the studio. Children and young adults of all levels are invited to explore the art making process. This is a supportive environment where the experience is often more important than the finished product.
