The Buying Teams now load CPT s against a product, so that E-Commerce can load them in bulk into the categories This improves efficiency and eliminates categorisation errors.

Using The Webcenter Asset Model The Webcenter Asset Model allows us to separate the different features of a product. Images, Description and the actual product are now 3 different assets in the system. This provides the ability to publish images prior to publishing the products, meaning that we have a process that ensures that the website will not feature products with missing images.
Using The Webcenter Asset Model Some product related assets (such as descriptions and prices) are automatically published when they are interfaced into the system by custom built workflow elements. This reduces the amount of manual involvement from business users, allowing them to focus on improving content rather than repeating tasks already done in another system.
