Login to Salesforce as admin user Use the supplied link to access the Get Started Page Page 4 Review the installation video. Click Install Now to start the installation process. Download the Salesforce Integration Package and review prior installation. Click Submit and follow the on screen instructions.

Page 5 Select Continue Click Next to Continue.

Page 6 Select the level of security required for the Marketing Automation integration (minimum allowable). For most installations the security level can usually set by the user s profile. Not Applicable to Salesforce Professional. By adding Full Access to each relevant user profiles (such as Marketing User), the users will have access to the application. It will still be necessary to assign a permission set to each user (as covered in the Permission Sets sections). Click Next to Continue. Press Install if you wish to proceed to install the Integration, select Previous or Cancel if required..depending on the notification settings in Salesforce you may see the following screen and receive an update email regarding the installation.

Page 7 Installation will take a few minutes, when the installation is complete, the following screens are displayed. The Marketing Automation application is now available, for setup and configuration. Selected Marketing Automation, from the App menu in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Users for Email Automation The Marketing Automation application has been designed to allow users of the system to have different levels of access. The system requires a single API service user and then as many standard and read only users as required. All users that wish to use the Marketing Automation app will need an Email Marketing permission set applied. API Service User Page 8 The user that is allocated for the API Server user for the Marketing Automation will require permission to allow the creation of data within Salesforce from the Marketing Automation application. This user must run part of the configuration wizard allowing the interchange of data between Salesforce and the Email Marking application. This can be a Salesforce Administrator user, or a separate user especially used for Marketing Automation installation. All API access to Salesforce is recorded against this user. If any of initial configuration is carried out by a user who insignificant permission or has the Standard User email marketing permission set applied, then the application will not perform as expected. The API Service user s permissions are adequate to configure the Marketing Automation application and enable the API to handle the data requests. If the API Service user needs to be able to fully run and use Marketing Automation application, then the Standard User permission set should also be applied, they will also need to mapped to an Marketing Automation user. Standard Users All standard users for Marketing Automation application will need to have the correct permission applied, without this they will not have the correct rights to system and will not be able to create/edit any Marketing Automation data and may not be able to see the App. Read Only Users Users that do not require the ability to edit the Salesforce data for the Marketing Automation Apps should be assigned the Read Only Access permission. Permissions Sets The installation is provided separate permission sets, each user account that requires access to use Marketing Automation must have one of the sets applied.

Page 9 Email Marketing - Administrator is used to by the Marketing Automation system to access the Configuration tab to configure users and set scheduling and synchronisation settings. Email Marketing - API Service is used to by the Marketing Automation system to access the Salesforce API and required objects. This must be applied to the user who is installing the application. Email Marketing - Standard Access is used to allow a Salesforce user to have standard read-write access to Marketing Automation data. Email Marketing - Read Only Access this does not allow any editing of the Salesforce data from within the Email Marking app. Assigning Permission sets As previously stated, the system requires an API service user, for the creation of the link between Salesforce and Marketing Automation. The API Service permission set must be applied to this user account, if this is not applied to the service user the integration between Salesforce and the Marketing Automation application will not be available. Carry out the following for each Marketing Automation user, choosing the appropriate permission set. From Managed Users > Users Select the API service user (or create one) Scroll down to the Permission Set Assignments Click Edit Assignments Add the Email Marketing API Service to the Enabled Permission Sets table

Page 10 Click Save, the system will return to the User detail screen. For each of Marketing Automation a permission set should be applied according their need. Most accounts should have the Standard Access set applied unless read only access is required.

Following the installation, three standard Salesforce pages will need to be amended to allow the Marketing Automation package to be fully integrated. The Campaigns, Contacts and Leads page layouts require modification. Page 11 DO NOT USE ANY LAYOUT MARKED (EMAIL MARKETING), these have been supplied for demonstration use only. This is also used to change the users permissions.to access certain tabs and functions Page 35 Depending on the number of standard managed users in Marketing Automation Application, the Email Account list may contain one or more users. Each Email User Account can only be linked to one Salesforce User.
