1 New Online Banking Guide for FIRST time Login Step 1: Login Enter your existing Online Banking User ID and Password. Click Log-In. Step 2: Accepting terms and Conditions to Proceed Click on See the terms and conditions. Review and select I Accept if you agree with the terms and conditions to proceed with your first time login to the new Online Banking. Step 3: Creating new User ID and Password You may be prompted to create a new User ID with the following requirements: Must be between 6-20 characters Must include at least 5 alpha characters Must contain letters AND the minimum of one number May include alpha (letters), numeric (numbers), or special characters Cannot contain dates, your SSN/EIN number, Account Number and cannot be your Password You will need to create a new Password: Must be between 6 32 characters Must consist of alpha and numeric characters Will be case sensitive May include special characters (but not required) Step 4: Providing contact information for enhanced login security. Enhanced login security replaces your former online banking security questions. Your contact information is used to help us confirm your identity should you forget your password, need to reset your password, or need to access your online banking from another computer or mobile device. During your set up, we encourage you to provide at least two pieces of contact information and at a minimum, you should enter a valid address and phone number. If you ever need to update your , select edit and enter the new If you ever need to reset your password, you would need to select Add your phone number and enter your phone number International phone numbers are now accepted Be sure to click SAVE when done. 2 Step 5: Selecting where and how to receive your verification code. After you have either updated or added to your contact information, select where and how you would like to receive your six-digit verification code: 1. By phone: Call Me Hello. This is your financial institution. Please press pound to receive your six-digit access code. Press # 2. By phone: Text me Your text message will come from the number 44833, with an abbreviation of your bank name and access code. Your access code is ###### (6 digits). Reply HELP for help. 3. By Me You ve requested a one-time passcode for authentication purposes; your one-time passcode is ###### (6 digits). You may minimize the browser window (webpage) or open a new one to retrieve your . 3 Step 6: Sending your verification code. After you selected how you would like to receive your verification code, you will be taken to the webpage shown below. You should keep this browser window (webpage) OPEN while you retrieve your verification code. Retrieving your code may require you to open another browser (webpage) window. See the instructions for how to open a new browser window while you have a browser window open on pages Please enter your six-digit verification code into the box. Then select whether to register the computer you are using. If you do not register your computer, you will be prompted to retrieve an access code each time you login to online banking. 4 Step 7: After you receive your six-digit verification code, enter the code into the box. Click Yes, Register this computer if you are accessing Online Banking from a personal computer Click No, This is a public computer, if you are accessing Online Banking from a public computer Note: If you do not register your computer, you will be prompted to retrieve an access code every time you log in. 5 Online Banking Upgrade Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Why are the online banking security features being changed? To better protect you from identity theft and unauthorized access to your accounts. This extra line of defense provides additional security from any device, anywhere. Will I receive a one-time access code each time I log in? A one-time access code will be provided upon each login from an unregistered computer or device. If you register your personal computer or device, you will not need the access code upon each login. Why am I getting a verification code every time? Your browser's cookies and temporary files have recently been cleared. The browser you are using is in private or incognito mode. A registered device is being used, but the browser being used is not recognized. How do I set my browser to accept cookies? Cookies are pieces of data given to the browser on your computer. The purpose of enabling cookies is to help websites identify returning users. Follow the steps below to update your cookie settings: Internet Explorer 1. On the General tab, click TOOLS 2. Select INTERNET OPTIONS 3. Under the heading Browsing History, uncheck the 'Delete browsing history on exit' checkbox 4. Click on the PRIVACY tab: a. Click the "Advanced" button b. Put a check mark next to "Override Automatic Cookie Handling" c. Accept 'First-party Cookies' and 'Third-party Cookies' d. Put a check mark next to "Always Allow Session Cookies" e. Click the OK button Firefox From the menu bar, click on "Tools" 2. From the Tools menu, select "Options" 3. In the Options window, select the "Privacy" icon a. If the "Firefox will" dropdown option is "Never remember history," cookies will be deleted from the browser upon browser close; If you are experiencing trouble with the MFA cookie, you can change the option to "Remember history" so that the cookie remains between sessions b. If the "Firefox will" dropdown option is "Use customer settings for history," ensure that both the "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" boxes are checked (ON) and the "Keep until" dropdown option value is "they expire" 5

6 Google Chrome 1. Open the Settings page a. You can open the Settings page by clicking on the icon with three stacked horizontal lines to the left of the address bar; this will open up a dropdown menu, and Settings will be located toward the bottom of the screen Mac OS X users can also open the Settings page by choosing Chrome > Preferences or hit, (Command key plus the comma key) 2. Locate the Privacy section and choose Content Settings a. Note: For most users, you will not see this setting until you expose advanced settings; scroll to the bottom of the page, and if there is a link that says Show advance settings, click on it 3. In the Content settings overlay ensure that the following options are set: a. Cookies: Allow local data to be set (recommended) b. Cookies: The option for Block third-party cookies and data is unchecked Safari 6 1. Open the Preference window by choosing Safari > Preferences or hit, (Command key plus the comma key) 2. Within the window select the "Security" icon on the top row and ensure that the following is true: a. Checked: Enable plug-ins b. Checked: Enabled JavaScript c. Unchecked: Block pop-up windows 3. Within the window select the "Privacy" icon on the top row and under the Block cookies option make sure Never is selected 6

7 Why am I seeing The page cannot be displayed or a blank page when accessing Bill Pay? There may be settings that are blocking access to online banking and/or Bill Pay. Follow the steps below to update your browser settings. Internet Explorer 1. On the General Tab, click on TOOLS 2. Select INTERNET OPTIONS 3. Click on the SECURITY tab a. Set the Security Level for the Internet Zone to Medium-high (If slider bar is not available, click on the button "Default Level") b. Click the OK button 4. Click on the PRIVACY tab a. Set the Privacy Setting to MEDIUM b. Click on the "Advanced" button c. Put a check mark next to "Override Automatic Cookie Handling" d. Under First-party Cookies, make sure the radio button is set to ACCEPT e. Under Third-party Cookies, make sure the radio button is set to ACCEPT f. Put a check mark next to "Always Allow Session Cookies" g. Click OK button 5. Click on the ADVANCED tab a. Under Security make sure the checkbox for "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is blank b. Under the Security Section, only check "Use SSL 3.0" and Use TLS Click on OK until exited completely from options 7. Close all browser windows (resets the IE browser settings) and start up the browser again Firefox From the menu bar, click on "Tools" 2. From the Tools menu, select "Options" 3. In the Options window, select the "Content" icon/tab a. Unclick (OFF) the checkbox for "Block pop-up windows - " *Or if you choose to have it checked (ON), be sure to add the bank s domain to the list of Allowed Sites b. Click (ON) the checkbox for "Load images automatically" c. Click (ON) the checkbox for "Enable JavaScript" 4. In the Options window, select the "Advanced" icon/tab 5. Select the "Encryption" tab a. Click (ON) the checkbox for "Use SSL 3.0" b. Click (ON) the checkbox for "Use TLS 1.0" 6. Click on OK button to close the Options window 7

8 Google Chrome 1. Open the Settings page a. You can open the Settings page by clicking on the icon with three stacked horizontal lines to the left of the address bar; this will open up a dropdown menu, and Settings will be located to the bottom of the screen Mac OS X users can also open the Settings page by choosing Chrome > Preferences or hit, (Command key plus the comma key) 2. In the Content settings overlay ensure that the following options are set: a. Cookies: Allow local data to be set (recommended) b. Cookies: The option for Block third-party cookies and data is unchecked c. JavaScript: Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) d. Pop-ups: Allow all sites to show pop-ups i. Note: If the you do not want to enable popups for all sites, click on the Manage exceptions button to open up a Pop-up exceptions overlay. Type the URL of the online banking domain and set the Behavior to Allow Safari 6 1. Open the Preference window by choosing Safari > Preferences or hit, (Command key plus the comma key) 2. Within the window select the "Privacy" icon on the top row and under the Block cookies option make sure Never is selected 8
