Thermal Insulation The Comboroof system is based on a spray applied 2-component PU foam which excludes the possibility of any thermal bridges. Being spray applied the thermal insulation is fully bonded to the substrate. A special foam formulation allows loads of 2.5 tons per m² to be installed above the foam. Whereas standard roofing systems with an EPS boards thickness of 75mm achieve a U-Value of 0.078 W/m²K, does Comboroof just require a thickness of 45mm thick special monolithic foam. This saves resources and certifies Comboroof to be part of your LEED certification as it can also be easily separated for future recycling processes.
