For certain special and rarely requisitioned tests, we are pleased to have successful affiliations with the Mayo Medical Laboratory in the USA including an exclusive 24 hour link, the Laboratoire Marcel Merieux (LMM) in France together with Bioscientia Laboratory in Germany ensuring Proficiency Healthcare Diagnostics are able to provide a truly world class laboratory service in the UAE. Internal and external Quality Assurance Programs are carried out regularly to assess all laboratory operations to ensure complete confidence in providing laboratory result reporting, efficient laboratory services and laboratory functionality. A full laboratory information system has been installed and is effectively used throughout the laboratory operations to ensure correct patient identification through bar coding systems, easy tracking of each specimen and diminishing clerical errors

The laboratory is a fully equipped, modern state of the art laboratory covering 5,380 sq ft., enabling the efficient performance of a wide range of in-house tests and laboratory services. 12 LOGISTICS PHD have implemented an effective logistics service to support the quick collection and delivery of test results across the region. We are able to pick up samples daily from Saturday to Thursday at any given time by the laboratory, with test samples stored in our temperature controlled storage boxes until they are delivered on time to the laboratory.
