Application Kit Artrage Marketing Coordinator About Artrage Artrage is a not-for-profit incorporated association that produces the FRINGE WORLD Festival and associated regional touring programs as well as Northbridge s Rooftop Movies. Our purpose is to enrich and evolve the creative arts and culture of Western Australia and our mission is to provide enduring benefits for artists, audiences and a diverse family of stakeholders through building the world s strongest Fringe festival. FRINGE WORLD Festival is the largest annual performance platform in Western Australia and the third largest fringe festival in the world. The 2015 FRINGE WORLD Festival was the biggest yet with free and ticketed attendance of more than 660,000 and a program of more than 550 events at 113 venues, presented by over 2,600 artists. Rooftop Movies is an open-air cinema with breath-taking Perth city skyline views, located in the middle of Perth s entertainment precinct, Northbridge. The venue operates for six months of entertaining summer bliss from October to April annually. About the role The primary purpose of the Artrage Marketing Coordinator is to assist the Artrage Marketing Manager with implementing the marketing plans for FRINGE WORLD Festival and Rooftop Movies along with project management of key marketing activities including website development and social media management. The Artrage Marketing Team uses a data-driven decision making approach through analyzing ticketing data and customer intelligence in order to shape and refine the marketing plan to achieve sales targets and business goals. The Artrage Marketing Coordinator is a full-time permanent position.

Selection Process Shortlisted applicants will be asked to take part in an interview in August with FRINGE WORLD management in Perth. Interviews will be conducted in person. Telephone/Skype interviews will only be scheduled if the applicant is not currently in Perth. Interviews will occur over 13-17 August 2015. The successful applicant will be notified by 19 August 2015. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified in the week commencing 24 August 2015 and may request feedback in writing. The start date for the position is Monday 31 August 2015. The successful applicant may be asked to be available for a handover with the incumbent Marketing Coordinator prior to the start date. Contract Details Salary: Contract Period: Working Hours: Working Location: Full time equivalent of $55,000 per annum plus Superannuation contributions Permanent full-time Full-time (38 hours per week). Marketing Strategy Interpret, with the Marketing Manager, customer intelligence data in order to shape and refine the marketing plan. Data intelligence may include ticketing and sales results, Google Analytics and social media results. Contribute to annual debriefs and propose improvements in relation to key project responsibilities, including e-news design, website design and social media strategy. Assist the Marketing Manager in reviewing and conceiving sales strategies. Contribute to briefing documents for external contractors such as the brand designer and web designer. Marketing Project / Program Coordination Oversee website administration, including coordinating annual improvements and working with the website developer and the Box Office Manager to improve the user experience and drive sales. Project manage the design, build, content development and content upload of all Artrage websites. Assist the programming team with the development of registration materials for venues and artists, including copywriting, design and delivery of electronic and print documents. Develop and deliver social media strategy that engages users and drive sales. Duties include copywriting for social media and design of graphics for use across social media accounts (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram). Undertake graphic design work, including creating advertisements for the FRINGE WORLD Festival Guide, signage and the annual FRINGE WORLD Impact Report along with digital graphics for social media posts and website design. Manage the complete process of select print projects, from brief, design, proofing to pre-press delivery. 3

Create briefing documents for external suppliers, including graphic designers and printers and ensure that content is delivered on time. Coordinate key elements of the Rooftop Movies marketing and communications campaign, including outdoor and radio advertising, signage, documentation, competitions and sales initiatives. Draft copy for the Rooftop Movies weekly e-newsletter. Assist publicity contractors with media liaison. Assist with event coordination for key events including VIP launches and the FRINGE WORLD Awards Duties may include coordination of invitation lists, catering, speech writing and other event logistics. Assist the Partnerships Manager with developing briefing documents and promotional materials for partners and providing other administrative partnership assistance as required. Respond to general public enquiries and assisting with enquiries from FRINGE WORLD artists and venues. Collate, gather and interpret survey data and contribute to the design and production of the annual FRINGE WORLD Impact Report. Oversee marketing department administration and data management. Undertake any other duties assigned by the Marketing Manager, which might reasonably be deemed to be within the scope of the role and having regard for the skills and qualifications of the role. Team and Development Develop a close working relationship with the Marketing Manager and Artrage Team in helping to deliver business outcomes and improvements. Assist with supervision and delegation of tasks to Marketing Interns and FRINGE WORLD Festival Marketing Coordinator. Actively support all staff and encourage team building and a supportive culture across the organisation. Embrace FRINGE WORLD values in all areas of work. N/A Qualifications and Experience Degree or Diploma in Marketing Experience in marketing campaign delivery, preferably within the arts industry Previous experience in a festival environment advantageous Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in website design and administration Project management skills, including experience liaising with external suppliers in the coordination of digital and print projects Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Design Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign Ability to write engaging and brand-appropriate copy with demonstrated proofing and editing skills Proven initiative and high levels of self motivation, including the ability to work unsupervised Proven ability to work under pressure as well as plan and prioritise workload Ability to work effectively in a team Capacity for data analysis, research skills and ability to contribute to strategy Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions to problems Experience in Microsoft Office suite Experience with CRM software desirable 5
